Do you like your team to bank first and try to get the first invasion?
Or do you prefer to wait for the opposition to bank, so you can drain their motes?
Personally, I prefer to bank second — I think it’s better to defend against an invader while holding lots of motes, than defend against an invader while my bank’s getting drained.

5 RepliesUsually 2nd. I tend towards sentry role and like to bank after spawn killing their 1st blockers. I also try to bank as close to their invasions becoming active, having 0 motes frees me up to hunt them.

2 RepliesI don’t play Gambit anymore, but when I did, first invasion always sets the tone for the match, that is, if it’s a good invasion.

I would say invading while the motes are draining is better as well. Its the "tougher" thing to do in many ways.

1 ReplyEither way, it’s all fun. I am not the best invader, but I usually go during the primeval phase if I’m going to invade. Like someone has already said I like to be mote-free and go after the enemy invader. I love pinning someone in a spot and see them waste time waiting for me to approach. Even if I just stall them long enough to ruin their trip it’s worth it, even if I get taken out. One kill and no lost motes.

2 RepliesI wish I could even get a team that doesn’t force me To invade and do all the actual work, I LOVE gambit but people ruin it

1 ReplyIt depends on their bar... but I like to kill their invader, bank... then counter immediately by invading. So, their invader is on the timer or in spawn, while I'll just a wait a bit... are they going to address the bank or hide?
