Bungie sabotage, resilience in pvp favors titans, p2p connections

Bungie sabotage, pvp going down the drain in order for us to quit and buy marathon. They said they would put in a lot of work and make pvp better. Almost nothing has changed and it's going to keep getting worse. No major sandbox changes and noob weapons will forever be broken. Also, no effort into anti-cheat because no one is getting caught now. Resilience in titans makes it so easy to build and have all 3 100 stats without any negative consequences. You can put 100 into resilience and have an overshield all game, flinch, and damage resistance. Hunters have to have mobility for their class ability so we have to sacrifice either resilience or recovery. Or we can use healing grenades and exotics to heal but titans do all of that for free. And lastly, p2p connections are so bad and it doesn't matter to Bungie. Comp, control, and ib are all skill based now so you have to suffer through bad player to player connections with people in different countries. Even cross play between PS5 and Xbox is terrible. They refuse to upgrade their servers. This also adds to the sabotage of the game that they don't want to keep going and making better anymore. This season will be so long and I'm pretty much ready to hop into cod and not even get marathon out of spite like they refuse to make pvp better out of sabatoge

  • One all character can build into a triple 100s build with all the armor focusing in the game or dungeon armor, seasonal armor and focusing on stats in subclasses fragments. Two Hunter only need 80 mobility since lightweight weapon frames give free +20 mobility (ton of top tier weapon in that one frame) also void breeches exist.

  • I also don't like flinch being tied to Resilience. Makes for more ghost bullets and missed shots for a stat that I have to sacrifice my main stat for. Feels bad.

    • As a hunter main who runs 20-30 resil, 100 mobil, recov and disc, skill issue.

Why does it seem like the game is more sbmm-y as the population goes down to its lower ends? It feels like it (or something similar) gets turned on then the player population dips a bit sometimes. But maybe its the other way around... In any event, hunters are pretty screwed when it comes to the stat distributions. That's something that has gotten worse over time due to other changes in the game. The incidental balancings have hit hunters the hardest. They should do what's best for this game with this game's PvP.

      • I’m ok with everything that is built into the game, as far as Titans go… my issue is, those matches I get in sometimes where people are just not taking proper damage and moving at insane speeds while I’m moving through what seems to be molasses.

      • PvP is very similar to how it’s always been. Current low population just makes it extra janky. A significant sandbox adjustment is supposedly coming. The Checkmate experiments have been tuning gunplay and ability balance. Destiny is a PvE focussed game. Marathon will be a PvP focussed game. Is it sabotage, or just allocating resources where they make the most impact?

        Before resilience got buffed it was worse than mobility which is why it got buffed the thing literally only mattered against Thorn at the time which was 1 single exotic which wasn't even the best hc. And since peak shooting was meta you wanted high mobility making mobility kinda meta and with Hunter's being uncontested till 3.0 came out aside from short meta's that usually lasted 1 month bungie likely didn't see mobility as weak. Edit: Btw resilience still ain't pvp meta 1% flinch resistance per a tier? Really? In pve it at least provides dr making it good but ever since they changed how the resilience tier works you only need 7 at most
