D² Dating Sim: Waste of Time and Money
I can't imagine why a game dev team would spend time, resources, and energy creating something that it was never going to use...
Also I can't imagine that doing so had a positive effect on the game. But what do I know 🤷♂️
Edit: I mean they did just fire a hundred people... Were those the people working on this game wasting time and energy and money pushing the next DLC back half a year?

1 ReplyThere was going to be a new cash shop called Happy Ever Afterverse where players could buy their favourite NPC gifts 🎁 in the hope of getting a message, holo conversation, face-face chat or a date at that Ramen place in the tower. If you were lucky enough to get a date you could look up and see Hawthorne looking forlornly at you and your chosen NPC.

2 RepliesI swear at some point way back before D1 or maybe even before that someone somewhere was talking about how arranged nerd marriages are the most awesome thing and all of us should commit ourselves to doing that. Didn't know they were that serious.
