Aim assist waaaay too strong.
Aim assist is causing me to miss shots by dragging my reticle off the target when a 2nd player crosses in front of me.
Is there any way to turn Aim Assist OFF on console?

3 RepliesDon't listen to the pvp nerds , they are all on pc anyway where you have all the settings in the world but if they get killed by console players then they would cry about controller aim assist while this aim assist in destiny 2 is the most annoying thing in the game . You can turn it off in cod , i have a 2.6 k/d in cod and a 0.6 k/d in destiny because of it ...

Not sure how long you played but some destructible objects that you had to shoot for some puzzles, turning nodes on/off, or objects that needed to be destroyed had no aim assist.The result was they were annoying to shoot to say the least. The last time this happened was with the drones surrounding the hedrons to activate heroic for public events on Europa. This has since been changed so they now have aim assist apply to these objects. If you are a newer player that never encountered instances of these objects, then think simliar to AE on its initial release as in when it was first introduced to the game but some how even worse. If you also are too new for that then shucks, I dont have a experience for you to draw from to explain why you need aim assist & what it feels like with out it.
