I'll try to be as concise as possible. My account got permanently banned out of nowhere. I know people will say what they will, but I know for a fact I don't cheat or have any sort of third-party software AT ALL on my computer. Naturally, I sent in an appeal and didn't hear back for quite a while, so after a month I decided to send another. Yes, I know duplicate appeals are against policy but can you seriously blame me for doing anything I can to get my account back? Time goes by, and I hear back from the first appeal that it's been decided the account's gone. So that's it. And then all of a sudden over a month later I hear back from the second appeal, telling me that they won't be investigating further because there's NO ACTIVE RESTRICTION on the account. What is going on? Is my account banned or not? I tried attaching pictures of the email from Bungie telling me there's no active restriction and of my home screen telling me I'm banned but they wouldn't work. Suffice it to say I have both and am very confused now, some clarification would be nice.

Hello there, The forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for players to appeal their ban or restriction. If an appeal has already been filed, All that can be done, has been done. Posting in the forums cannot assist beyond linking to the appeal and speculation. Bungie will typically respond only if more info is needed or if the ban/restriction is altered. The form is for appeals only, they do not answer questions as to why or how long.
Requests for additional information, such as the length of a restriction or reason for a ban, will be disregarded. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049024492
[i]Please note that while every appeal is reviewed, as mentioned in the article, there is no guarantee for a response, nor is there a guarantee that a ban or restriction will be overturned. 6 RepliesGiven there are so many cheats going unactioned every day, they could at least give an explanation to someone in this situation.

Edited by viiTactiiCZz: 1/26/2024 3:44:25 AMIf you sign into D2 and see 'Not So Fast' you're banned. When it comes to D2/appeals, Suspensions - Restrictions - Bans are all treated* differently. So its possible to be banned without an active restriction. Suspensions are temp restrictions (30-60 mins locking you from crucible/gamibt0 Restrictions are week/months blocking you from crucible/gambit Bans are permanent game wide.
