I just received an email saying
“We are looking for current Destiny 2 players to participate in a 5-day, in-person playtest at our downtown Bellevue studio.“
“As a thank-you for your valuable time and feedback, you will receive a $xx gift card of your choice upon completing the study.“
There was a dollar value, but on the off chance this is real, I didn’t want to disclose it. But this can’t be legitimate right? I’ve seen similar posts questioning it, but those were just surveys for silver.
I received the email from userresearch@info.bungie.net
I don’t believe it’s legitimate, but the source from the email is a PASS, and the IP leads to a San Francisco location, with hostname “mta.info.bungie.net” (not sure how easy that is to spoof)
1. It sounds to good to be true, I’m a nobody. Just been playing the game for years.
2. Receiving a gift card sounds sketchy

3 RepliesBungie do paid in-person playtests; if you got the email then you've enabled that option in the Email and SMS section: https://www.bungie.net/7/en/User/Account/EmailSms
