Crucible matchmaking is different and worse
I know what everyone is going to say - "population is down" - "matchmaking is always bad" - no, this is different. Something is going on. Very good players are getting matched with very bad players, and of course lobby balancing feels random AT BEST.
Just had a match where the efficiencies of one team ranged from 1.7 to 12.5 and the other ranged from .4 to .9. It was a pointless match. Nobody learned anything, the outcome was a foregone conclusion before it even began.
What's going on?

8 RepliesI’m on Xbox and have never suspected one of my opponents was using hacks/Xim until this week’s trials where I was getting hit by opponents I couldn’t see with pinpoint aim. Something fishy is definitely afoot.
