Allo there,
This is a known bug and Bungie is investigating. They have stated it will be retroactively fixed after the event ends. No time has been stated but it will be sorted.

They also said it would be fixed during this month. we still have at least one more update to go.

Bugs can take minutes to fix or weeks/months. Depends on the severity and how easy it is to fix and not then break something else. The millions of lines of code that make up Destiny 2 will be a formidable challenge for any bug fixer.
