It's hard for me to accurately describe how much of a problem this is.
When i've got hunters popping omnioculus smoke bombs on my team, the only thing I ever think is "oh god please stay away from me" because the loss of radar range is so debilitating that it feels more like a debuff than a buff.
And all of this for d2 invis. It's not difficult to see these people when they're invisible. They've got that very distinct purple shimmer about them, and the invis notably doesn't keep you off radar very well either.
Whenever I see someone else using invis, and I almost always see them, they're just as easy to gun down as if they'd been fully visible, and it comes with the downside of them not being able to track me with radar unless I'm right up next to them.
For the sake of pvp, it has basically killed the viability of the nightstalker subclass, which now either needs to be reworked so that this very unhelpful keyword isn't central to all of it's mechanics, or needs to be the benefactor of some serious reworks to how invisibility functions.

1 ReplyEdited by ㅤ Avvor: 1/16/2024 3:36:48 PMIt’s literally shoot a bullet to get rid of it And calling the second most used subclass in trials dead You made what would be called a dumb complaint here

1 ReplyThats a lie, there were some maps that I literally couldn’t see hunters. Some maps blended so well with hunter invis that it made playing trials that weekend miserable. Invis is fine where it currently is, it’s a tool to be used, not a free kill button. When I had my hunter I exclusively ran my invis build because of just how good it is, even after the nerfs I still used it and still managed to outplay people all the time. Heck I might make a hunter again because Im in the mood to prove you wrong lol

4 RepliesI don't know how other colorblind people feel about it, but I can't see invis hunters at all. Sounds like my problem right? But it's not because there are colorblind filters in the game that don't change a thing about the way they look. Then again, I don't play Crucible anymore, so it really isn't my problem.

1 ReplyIt does suck but sadly idk what they could even do that would make it balanced. It was changed because of invis rats crouching in the back of lanes off radar having the jump on every engagement. I mainly don’t run void hunter because of invis. And the supers are still awful

2 RepliesYep invis kinda sucks. And it is a debuff. Removing radar is only a negative.

1 ReplyI guess, if you don’t want to lose radar, you can simply shot a bullet to come out of invis. I do that and then I try to stay away from invis The class still seems valid. This week atm it has a usage rate of 9+%, sitting at the 4th.
