this is the single most poorly implemented nerf to an ability ever seen near enough out right killing the ability’s use for most people we would take any other solar titan nerf over this
It’s pve man just let people have there fun

Surely it's not controversial to say that an unlimited use ranged ability with damage high enough to function as boss DPS that also restores health when used (collected) is worthy of a nerf.
-
Throwing a hammer at the wall repeatedly while someone's afk in a raid was too much fun. This was done to make these people sad.

It's like the shoulder charge nerf, where it takes a small chunk so you can't use it for movement, repeatedly. Did it kill the ability? No. Does it feel worse? Yup. Does it make things better for anyone? Nah not really. It's just worse because... Reasons.

“Oh no, I can’t bash majors to death with no effort anymore, whatever shall I do?”
-
It’s really not that bad, if I play my Titan, I play with the hammer. I use Solar hunter often, which also has a cooldown between melee spamming. If you try to throw a knife too fast it won’t be refunded. I’m pretty used to it, not to mention you don’t have to get a kill with a hammer to refund it. And it’s damage stacks. It’s still really good. Also it grants cure when you pick it up. Only thing is I wish it scorched, it’s a molten hammer so why not? Also more synergy. Anyways, I don’t see the problem.

Honestly agree. The hammer nerf was a dumb move and to top it all of they nerfed Sunspots and survivability making one of Titan's solar aspects terrible at times.

2 RepliesThe class is still top tier in PvE. The nerf didn’t really change anything except the dps output of the throwing hammer.

Honestly, I’d be content if they actually did buff the tracking. I must’ve missed the payment window to get it because virtually nothing changed. 100% a placebo change to try and avoid more outcry.
