Greetings, Guardians! A recent post of mine has inspired me to make this one. I have seen first hand that the community is very passionate about Destiny, as well as the... not so pleasant posts I've seen about the games current state. I know that times seem rough in the game right now, but that's why I want the community to use this post as a way to put some feedback out there! Whether it be feedback for Bungie, some feedback on the game and how it could be made better, as well as feedback for the community itself!
Although I see that people are very passionate about this game, I dont believe the ways feedback has been being put out there is very healthy for the developers. So, I'd like to set some rules on this discussion. Please, dont attack the Bungie dev's in any way. The purpose of this is to be courteous and give honest, realistic, and most importantly, FRIENDLY feedback to hopefully spread some positivity!
Cant wait to see all of your guys' idea's and opinions! Stay kind, Stay passionate, and most of all, Stay positive!

Need revenue bungie? I’d actually buy armor ornament sets if I could transmog exotics in PVE. What’s the point if I can never have the whole look? Let me transmog exotics in PVE and simply disable it for PVP, and then watch the money hit my screen.

1 ReplyEdited by jpavo1: 1/12/2024 12:21:37 AMIf anyone with the power to make decisions at Bungie sees this: 1. The harder you try to sell us things in eververse, you just make everyone NOT want to buy anything. If you listen to the community, give us what WE want instead of making US play YOUR way, people will be happy, and will more likely than not, buy expansions, seasons and cosmetics because they know their money is going back into improving the game. 2. Sometimes weapons or abilities are too powerful, but nerfing everything into the ground is not the way. People make builds that may indeed obliterate everything, but it's fun. 3. Lost sectors need a higher exotic drop rate. Going through 20 minutes of sitting behind a corner chipping away at a champion's health while getting harassed with grenades only to get an enhancement core feels like a kick in the nut5. 4. Pvp needs MAJOR balancing changes. It's confusing, because I'm a very average player, yet connection based matches feel balanced, and skill based matches are completely unfair. 5. The moment in-game changes show that you are indeed listening to feedback, players will more likely than not come back and gladly play Destiny again. [Edit] 6. More dumb game modes for the crucible. We have team scorched and relic, which are cool. How about taking it one step further and adding a game mode with all the vehicles?? Interceptors, pikes, even drake tanks! Also sparrows, of course. That would finally make the huge maps not tedious. Also something like oddball and juggernaut would be fun. Bottom line: GAMES SHOULD NOT FEEL LIKE A CHORE I'm probably just screaming into the void but whatever

5 RepliesI only play PvP so here’s my hot takes. 1. Remove the forced win loss cráp. 2. Remove the piss poor team balancing and giving me potatoes. 3. Add more incentive to PvP, more gear, better rewards, pinnacle weapons for both Comp and Quickplay. Hell, throw in stuff like emotes, shaders, ships, sparrows that can be obtained from playing PvP.

1 ReplyI would say, from a gear standpoint, along with PvE. 1. Continue to make exotic quests that can be done on normal or legendary. Obviously more loot if done on legendary. Also keep making difficulty scale based on Fireteam size vs solo. 2. Bring back charged with light mods and elemental wells. Destiny 2 is a game about build crafting. Give us more options. The armor charge system might be easier to understand, especially for newer players, but it’s more limited. 3. Give each class, a baseline class ability stat. Hunter + 20 mobility, for just being a hunter. Warlock + 20 Recovery Titan + 20 Resilience That way it would help with build-crafting. Classes would have an easier time making their classes ability scores higher and more room to invest in other stats. 4. Update dark subclass to be closer in line with light 3.0 5. Move Phenix Dive off of rift ability. It was better and more useful when Warlock could use a rift and PD together vs picking one or the other. Thanks for reading!

1 ReplyDestiny 2 needs a new director. Luke and Joe have not been good to the game or the community. The community is toxic because Bungie is toxic. If you don't understand this, go spend some time in the Warframe community, watch some DE dev streams, and notice the huge difference. There were 2 people, I think their names were Scott and Steve who worked on Forsaken. Maybe they should direct the game, because Forsaken was great.

3 RepliesThis game and bongo just 🗑️🤡 no matter how much you praise them or give bad feedback, they just don’t care, they talk and promise and in the end they do something that makes everyone just burn and say what a terrible game, I’m just waiting for everything to die and Sony to take control, this game has little left of that that's why I started playing and absorbing the content day after day or just going in and having fun... I forgot what fun is with this game and you just want to go through something else the same gms over and over again... I'll watch the ending on yt... I'm tired of this 💩

I'll try. -Recent pvp playlists were poorly thought-out and need to be reverted immediately, and no, moving Checkmate, which is now just basically regular crucible with the recent changes, back to labs is not what I'm talking about. -Not having Clash, the most basic mode in all of online multiplayer pvp, available at all times is and always will be a mistake. Most of your players either don't know about or don't care about objectives. Let them play TDM/Clash. -Revert Iron Banner to D1. Rotate Clash, Control, maybe Supremacy and call it a day. The modes they keep shoving in, which don't even get tested in labs first, have all been different levels of unenjoyable, with eruption being the worst. Trying to promote aggressive gameplay is great. Doing so by killing me if i'm doing to well is about the worst possible implementation of that idea, respectfully. -Please balance pvp separately. I do not care if my gun behaves differently between pve and pvp. Just please do it. For no other reason than me being so indecribably tired of seeing people whine about *necessary* pvp nerfs affecting pve. Maybe this is my meanest point but I'm SO sick of hearing about it. Balance them separately. -Finally, DO NOT touch endgame difficulty. It's fine. Instead, add lower, less rewarding options for players struggling with the current difficulties. There is absolutely ZERO reason to dumb this game back down again, but I hear/see the complaints from some, so add some options at the lower tiers so these people can experience content, albeit with less (not none) rewards for the lower effort required. I could go on for miles of text, but those are my big ones currently.

Oof this might go south... Destiny forum is almost as bad as IG comments Best of luck to you. I'll bump this thread to see the results

1 ReplyTo the lovely programmers at Bungie, it would be most appreciated if you could make some "adjustments" to the entire Wyvern enemy model in this game. They're unnecessarily oppressive, over-powered, and have the most ridiculous critical spot that they're prone to covering, rendering any battle with them needlessly prolonged. To summarize, they suck and need to be reworked. To the OP of this post, how was that? I think I nailed it with equal parts courtesy and feedback on an in-game issue I see.
