Exotic Armor needs Artifice Slot

Masterworking exotic armor should unlock an artifice slot. Just saying. EDIT: The extra slot would be for something never done before... To equip OLD seasonal mods from the past. To get old mods, you would have to buy them from Ikora at the Tower. 3 Ascendant Shards, 3 Alloys, 15 cores, and 50k glimmer for each mod. The mod will be fixed PERMANENTLY and cannot be removed.

    Exotic armor dropped from GM’s or master lost sectors only. Incentivize players to actually do end game content. I do GM’s for shards and prisms nothing else. The weapons are mid at best but I get tons of exotic armor. Give me an artifice slot if I acquired it during an end game activity. Let’s be real, if you’re completing GM’s you already have a solid build making anything that drops from that activity useless. Instead it’s “oh wow! I got a 68 stat roll on my geomags! That’s totally better than my 67 roll I currently have on! Let me spend the resources to MW this it’s gonna change my build significantly!”

    • Exotic armor is the only armor in the game that can roll with 71 stat total very rare but I have 2 of them

    • Or bring back Glass Needles like in D1 to reroll armor stats.

    • That’s an awesome idea. It would make buildcrafting and triple 100s more attainable for casual players as well.

      • I'd prefer craftable exotic armor instead... Just the stats allocation,not the perks .

        • Consider that Exotics can already have a higher base stat total than Legendaries (68 is max for legendaries, and 71 or 72 is max for Exotics)

            • Imo, If anything I would say add an extra mod slot but not for stat, but for utility instead

            • Yes base stats increase reguardless we can all agree majority of our exotic armor are useless and either outdated or just flat out unusable
