CHEATER NUMBER GETTING WAY TOO HIGH
A lot of cheaters in game, lots of Ex-Cheater i.e. those ban 100-200 days are back as well. No system checks, no rules, nobody cares.

23 RepliesMy buddies and I are convinced that most high level console pvp players are using aim assist like cronos or whatever. The amount of cross map aggressive two burst kills, three tap HC kills, or AR lasers we have seen grow over the years is nuts. Additionally, the way we see a lot of people move in impossible ways for a controller is getting out of hand. Or, maybe I'm just suddenly bad now after thousands of hours of destiny pvp, idk.

21 RepliesIt was normal iron banner cheat levels over the weekend but as of today it is even more ridiculous. Every match has unkillable aim botters glitching all over the maps. Should be a way to only matchmake other console players instead of the pc cheaters - yeah I know still xim etc cheaters on console but the pc cheats are next level

2 RepliesI was just playing with my two friend clan mates that I haven’t seen in months and we played some iron banner together. I raged bc I swear this one player was hacking and I made that comment and sure enough my whole fireteam was thinking the same thing but nobody wanted to say anything. So, I recorded my gameplay using PlayStations rewind capture feature so I rewatched the the moment I raged. Sure enough, the enemy player was warping side to side every time I shot my gun. And he only warped when I shot my gun. My friend even said that he thought this guy had mask of brakis equipped, but he didn’t have anything. Let people talk -blam!- about me blocking 1,500 players. The levels of hacking and lag switching hasn’t been this bad since I played OG MW3 during its decline when bo2 was coming out.

1 ReplyIf all the cheaters were somehow suddenly removed from the game, you might find it much harder finding matches as the player population would drop significantly. The way I see it, the only people playing right now are tryhard sweats, streamers, new lights, the brainwashed fanboys, and of course the cheater/carry services.

What?! Impossible! They have Battleye!! Lmao!! All sarcasm intended. Easy Anti Cheat Systems suck and are ineffective to stop cheaters cause they always find a way around the system to cheat. And here knowing how ineffective it is, Bungie should just allow us Steam Deck owners to play Destiny on SteamOS.

While the hope or intent of this was to get more new players into the game, alot of long time players viewed the deal as a an enabler for cheating.

IB player count is high so lower chance to have stacked teams against. Since IB is CBM those that have poor connections will have worse gameplay experiences. Those with better connections have much better experience. Destiny is not COD. Connections to Bungie and other players matter. COD is to a central server. As for cheating, it exists. Just not as much as people think. Network issues and player setups matter. There is a reason top players use specific setups. Personally I prefer IB because of higher player count. That way slightly better than average player such as myself can find some enjoyment in Crucible playlists. Lastly, CBM and SBM both have issues. The biggest issue is player counts. The lower it is the more pronounced issues with implementation of each will show.

2 RepliesEven Grenader Jake and Aztecross was reporting players who were cheating here a couple weeks ago. Once Destiny 2 became free to play and players able to come to cheat. I know that feeling even as Competitive has cheaters in that game mode.

7 RepliesOver 3k hours in this game and I’ve never encountered a cheater. Given I haven’t been very active in the last year but the amount of complaints of cheaters is wild.

Bungie wouldn't have many players left in pvp if they did a mass ban . So get used to the cheaters they run crucible.
