Solo playing
Impossible to be a solo player anymore, I can not wait for bungie to loose this game to play station and just maybe things can go back to an easier play style instead of this hard B S all the damn time. I hope play station takes it all and then some! I hope you loose everything thing bungie and get a real royal screwing just like you have given long time players that use to love this game! I hate now and when you do loose it please look back at all the fans giving you the middle finger!!!!

I don't know if it will happen, but it needs to happen. Your post will be downvoted, but you are correct. This game should have been ripped from their hands years ago knowing they have literally destroyed Bungie's work. For what, the kids/teens in gaming that think buying from a shop is gaming, what a -blam!- joke knowing that is what gamers are being conditioned to. The original devs didn't need all the crap this business does in gaming because they knew how to design a game that sold itself. It shows how far gone this business actually is that they are losing the player base, etc... When seasons are the only damn reason the player count goes up in this game, and drops near the end, it shows how messed up the rest of the game actually is.

Go play another MMO game that caters to solo players

If you’re finding solo content to be too challenging, you most likely just need better builds. For your hunter, get assassins cowl and a one-two punch shotgun. Mastering that exotic alone will allow you to solo most dungeons. As a warlock, use solar with Karnstein gauntlets or sunbracers. Sunbracers takes more practice to keep up restoration x2 (which makes you nearly unkillable), but both will keep you alive. You could also use Fallen Sunstar on arc and just live in a rift. For Titan, synthoceps or the precious scars helmet with strand or solar will keep you safe. Both are easy to use. With any of these exotics and subclasses there are tons of videos explaining how they work. Solo players have a lot of content to take on once they know how to not die. Go try some solo dungeons. Start with shattered throne and then try Grasp and Prophecy. Some content in this game is really hard, but after looking at your characters, I think you just need better gear.

2 RepliesI hear you and I feel for you but Destiny is and had always have been an MMO. It's original Game Director is WoW Legend and built the foundation of the Destiny franchise around that model. It's basic content can be played solo however it was never meant to be to be as a whole. Thats why you get additional triumphs for completing things solo. I'm not going to degrade you or put you down but this game is and always have been made to play with a fireteam you can speak with. Certain members of the community are the source of the argument for a solo experience and Bungie has always stood the oppisite side. Many of the veteran players have left because game changes have been in favor of the casual/solo experience and the game is easier now and less grindy than ever before. It would be a service to Bungie and the Destiny franchise if an entire side of the community (regardless of which side of the coin it is) stopped playing today. They would be able to push patches and DLCs favored by everyone and bring back hundreds of thousands of players. The community is to split atm and no matter what groups are complaining. To help you for now I do have a whole thread you can check out on tips on getting better if your interested.

The games an MMO, its meant for solo play and isnt even all that difficult on solo unless youre attempting a team activity solo. Playstation does not have the ability to take over destiny, Sony does and honestly if you look at their track record woth MMOs it wont be great, if anything it will get much worse.

The game has never been intended to be a solo-player game. Yea, you can play solo, but it has always been intended to be played with a fireteam. And what do you mean by going back to an easier play style? The game has quite literally, never been easier lol especially as a solo-player, this season specifically due to Solo-Operative mod. But even without that, the different ways you can build all three classes makes it too easy to play solo these days.

2 RepliesI disagree. I'm a solo player and I have finished most Legend/Master Lost Sectors, plus I solo'd a few dungeons, but that all started with the 3.0 release on our Supers. It's all build crafting now, so you really must pay attention to your armor and weapons. Use YouTube and Google for help. Ask for help on social media platforms too.

You just have to play more. Inspected someone on my team they’re playing .5 for the week and got flawless. You’ll get a card where you’ll get carried eventually.

Solo players have an easier time now. Used to be impossible for solo players. Especially things like trials. Bungie gave us lost sectors so we could get newer armor and the Vex strike force. Dungeons can be soloed with enough practice as well. Yes things could be better but it used to be much worse. And solo is all I do.

2 Repliesthere is a way for bungie to turn this around, make the servers a hell of alot bigger and give us the community our dlc back, all of it. By getting everything back plus making the server bigger the player base and profits will increase by give new light players the ability to purchase old dlc content and also giving us the people that have been playing since day 1 more to do.

There used to be next to nothing to do solo but PvP and if you did that you probably now have trash stats. The everyday, honest, working class, average joe-journeyman player was thanked with trash stats for daring to come home from the factories and play solo. But things are kind of looking up in the solo department. This game will always be a team game but having more solo stuff is finally the smart thing to do so it will probably have more of that as well. Some of those people that played solo and in two stacks were very good before they were purged...
