I am also near Dallas and having the same issue. I started seeing the contacting destiny servers error yesterday. I would lag out for a minute, but would stay in game and was able to keep playing. Starting this morning I have been getting bee, anteater and weasel every few minutes. Sometimes I would get lucky and just reload into the zone after seeing the loading screen. Most of the time I am removed from the activity into orbit or completely kicked out of the game to the first Destiny splash page before you select your character. The same thing is also happening to my husband who is sitting 2 feet away on his own pc. He happens to a network/voip guy by trade and is currently trying to work his magic in an attempt to narrow down the problem.

Same, all day, even a little bit last night. I'm in the Killeen, TX area, so maybe it's a region area OR just Texans are the ones complaining lol.
