OLD DELETED STEAM ACCOUNT
hi there,
I'm looking to change the steam account for destiny that I have. The one i have currently connected is a steam account that has been deleted about 4 years ago and so now I don't have access to it. I was wondering if there is any way to change the account or delete it from the connection and replace it with a new one even if I don't have access now to the old steam account.

To disable Cross Save and unlink the Steam account, you must be able to authenticate the login for that Steam account, which cannot be done if it's deleted. Under no circumstances will Bungie forcefully unlink or remove an account. You will need to contact Steam Support to see if they can recover the account for you. If that's unsuccessful, then unfortunately your current Cross Save setup will be permanent.
