Handheld supernova should one hit kill like it used to Before the Nerf.
Every other class has a one hit kill ability.
The hunters have a throwing knife That can do that or even better when equipping an exotic that enhances the throwing knife to one hit kill on the body. (PvP)
The titans have the shoulder charge.
That can one hit kill when equipping the leg armor exotic.(PvP)

Athrys's Embrace can potentially one hit somebody if you can hit them, that can be a big if, its a more niche thing and not practical. I would rather use it in PVE for better functionality vs Champions. Peregrine Greaves can potentially one hit kill but need a few requirements before thats possible, you have to be sprinting for a few seconds before its melee is useable and you have to jump in the air and melee for it to OHK. The boots are more of a suicide runner thing and not ideal for PVP due to shotguns, suspend, fusion rifles, Witherhoard, and SMG's. The other problem with Peregrine Greaves that has always plagued any Titan melee is melee whiff, most of the time you miss the target and die. For a balanced Warlock OHK melee lets give them an exotic that boosts the power of Strand melee to OHK, but to give it a catch the target must be at a range greater than 40 meters and the melee loses all tracking and travels in a straight line like a slow moving rocket. Seem impractical? welcome to the Athrys's/Greaves club rookie.

Yes it should, either all classes have a 1 shot ability or no classes have a 1 shot ability, it's called balance, and no shoulder charge isn't high skill and no weighted knife isn't high skill, I think 1 shot abilities shouldn't be in the game, but here we are, remove them or put -blam!- back the way it was.

Otherwise, you've just listed a bunch of things that don't compare. The hunter knife (without exotic) HAS to crit to OHK. Supernova didn't. You could throw it at their knees and they'd die. Shoulder Charge doesn't OHK without an exotic. So sure, give warlocks an exotic that augments Supernova, but no, there is 0 reason to let plain jane pocket supernova* one hit again. edit:spelling

4 RepliesShoulder only one hit kills with an exotic. The Titan 1 hit melee is Tclap which is standing still with no defense for 2.5 seconds.

2 RepliesConsidering how long it takes to charge on top of the movement penalty, on top of its small range, on top of the loud sound it makes when charging. No other ability in this game sacrifices so much apart from the titan arc fist attack. I don’t understand why arc titans get a similar ability with the power to one shot and with a much larger radius. Cant even make the argument that the titan uses an aspect because you also need an aspect for the hand held grenades lol. Cant even say movement penalty when hand helds barely allows you to move when you start to charge it. There is just bo excuse why hand helds shouldn’t have the ability to one shot in pvp. It’s also a joke of an ability in pve, the damage is laughable and it doesn’t even push enemies away because the physics in this game is a hot mess.

How about the old melee instead, I miss blinking in and using the melee with necrotic grips to get a kill. Hhsn was way too strong with contraverse holds. I think the void breach melee with necrotic grips would be better. It would be more useful than the crappy melee we have now.

2 RepliesI don't remember the exact specifics, but there are some shenanigans to be had with Verity's Brow and Magnetic Grenade. It might also need Echo of Undermining, but I distinctly remember that it would one-shot with 1 stack of Death Throes.

8 RepliesMini novas were the -blam!- man I miss them. I used to use them all the time really helped put a stop to Peregrine Greaves shoulder charge titans. Warlocks are bottom of the totem pole when it comes to Destiny unfortunately.

Ngl a pve buff would be welcomed as well, even with verity combo its just not worth it to use
