Raid, Day 1: "KnWtD!!! Must have Ghally, must be above power cap and flawlessled raid in first hour!?!?!"
I'm exaggerating with that quote of course, but it's pretty much how people act about PvE related content, not just raids.
Also, I'm not someone who doesn't watch guides first before attempting a raid, and have had my share of completions. But it doesn't make the point less true.
Just food for thought when people choose to live in a bubble and think Destiny consists of PvP toxic elitists only.

I’ve played a lot of both and only experienced toxicity in pve I thought it was common knowledge pve was more toxic.

Because you have 5 raid completions across this entire game.

What's toxic is thinking you are entitled to have someone to walk you through a raid or dungeon when they set the parameters of the group. Make your own lfg post on how you want to play and you pick who you plays with you.

1 ReplyYou don’t PvP is you think PvE is more toxic. Dont join a KWTD raid then. It’s just that easy. There are a LOT of people who actively teach the raids. Including me.

Well see for pve there's a simple solution... Find people that are like minded about blind raids and dungeons. Set ur own standards. U can always leave an activity if u don't dig the people and find different ones. This has been a thing now for years and I can't believe people are still upset that some groups want competent players. Great example is people that run a day one raid are more experienced with the mechanics and are tired after their run the next day. Last thing they want to do is sherpa people and they just want competent people. There's plenty of people offering sherpas at one point and have enough patience for a wider variety of people on this game. Just my 2 cents hope everyone has a great new years eve.

That isn’t toxic, if anything, playing with people who don’t know how to play is toxic to yourself. People should be allowed to play with only other people that know how to play, that isn’t toxic. Most people only care if you know what to do (watched a video), and not wether or not you’ve done it before. The people who ask for people with certain completion numbers for a raid tent to be the people who either care way to much, or aren’t good enough to do it without getting carried. Once again, not toxic, but it is annoying. I agree that PvE can be just as toxic as PvP, but that isn’t the reason.

PvP is toxic by nature , someone is gonna have a bad time , and it cant feel legendary to be slide shotgunned and tbagged Yes, some endgame players can be aholes , but there success doesn't depend on a lesser skilled players failure

I’d say it’s equal

Because what you’ve written definitely falls into the latter category. Your exaggeration sounds like the requirements that some people tend to set for their LFG groups and while you may not agree with them that doesn’t mean that they equate to toxicity lol.

Damn…you may be in to something, it just makes it really sad though.

Toxicity is everywhere you look in games tbh

PvE players are some of the most toxic PvP players.
