Star crossed Exotic “Normal”
It’s apparent I won’t be able to complete Season of the Wish due to the difficulty of the required exotic mission, Starcrossed. I play solo a lot of the time and enjoy the matches and missions that allow matchmaking. I am not one to seek a group and most of the times my friends are unavailable. Is there some way matchmaking could be allowed on the normal mode at least during this season. Thx

The normal version should definitely be doable by going on lfg with no mic. And at that point it's basically the same as normal matchmaking but people will be far more likely to know what they're doing.

Might take a second to navigate through making a post or joining one, but once you've done it once you'll be chilling You have Until June 2024 to figure out this Exotic mission btw. Don't sweat it lol

Just get over your mental block and make your own LFG post. If you keep ignoring simple features like this, you will keep struggling in what a lot of people are calling easy an mission.

8 RepliesI soloed it. Its so easy. If you can't solo this exotic mission, I don't know what to tell you. The boss is a joke, bungie gave you a giant wall to hide behind and I swear the adds in the room will never go behind the wall. Its like bungie literally programed the adds to never go behind the wall. It's so easy to solo. Come on. I am also a solo player. I have no clan, I don't even have any friends, I'm a loner. I am as casual as can be. Also, I have ADHD and 2 other mental conditions. Yet, I can solo it. So, If I can do it why can't you? Also, I soloed it on legend as well. I died a few times, but I did it. People this mission is not hard. How easy does bungie need to make things?

Keep trying. It took a bit for me to learn where to go,and that there’s an order for the sections. At final boss I had to switch what I was running to find what would work for me. I did learn Celestial Nighthawk Golden gun does 550k+ damage lol. Good luck.

Take your time and it’s not too bad. Nothing has to be killed immediately. For example when you have to go through the barriers to take out the yellow bars, you can literally run in shoot a dragons breath and run out the way you came, repeat until they’re dead lol Final boss you can either cheese or just hang out at the opening while you shoot then hide until it’s dead.

Other than the final boss it’s no different than anything else. The final boss can be cheesed though.

1 ReplyI used the new fireteam finder, got it done fairly quickly, no mics and i had one practice run prior to it, so sort of knew where to go etc

I solo'd it on Normal, and working on Legend. If you're ever dying alot, go on YouTube or Google and please check your build crafting.

Thx[/quote] Match make ,I had trouble with Beta matchmaking supposed better version in January,I solo it use heal grenades ,spec into recovery found doing mission resilience had time delay watch out there,use bow or fusion and sunshot litterly wipes out adds , special ammo finder ,mini bosses hit really hard cover
