Once there was a time that if you went invisible you disappeared from radar and it also broke tracking on tracking grenades.
Nowadays Bungie nerfed it to uselessness!
It doesn’t break tracking grenades anymore and you ping on radar.
The grenades are garbage and you have a smoke bomb only to slow them down.
Then there is the super. Most people use tether but that’s broken faster then a titan barricade. And mostly when the tether procs you already got killed by the super it suppose to trap.
In my opinion some things have to be changed back looking at what other classes can do like strand.

Yeah they should add the ability to remove the grenade tracking back

I mean don’t get me wrong, invisibility is strong but with the nerfs and all that, it’s kinda alright? Mostly you use it as range as you won’t cause pings and they can’t see you clearly, though with the nerf removing your radar (which I don’t understand) wouldn’t it be fair to give them at least that back?

5 RepliesThere needs to be a medal for killing invis hunters Called "I see you"

1 ReplyYeah there shouldn't be one clearly powerful class, and the rest are "meh" they should all be viable at every level of the entire game. I'd agree the invisibility is useless. I know I can spot an invis Hunter almost anywhere. Sometimes from really far distance it can take a second, and that does make a difference if the player is equipped for long distance, but overall it seems pretty useless. I'm not sure how they could fix that either. Invisibility is incredibly touchy and seems to be either useless or way too powerful. There's never really a middle ground there, it seems. Maybe there's a way to do it though.

It absolutely is not. Invisible Hunter in PvP for legit years. If you think it's useless, you aren't doing it right.
-
1 ReplyIt is still powerful in the right hands. You may think “they’re still shooting me, it’s useless” but there’s plenty of times where they hesitate for just a moment and that’s a lot in this game. Yes you ping on radar but you also have access to radar manipulation (smoke bombs ping people’s radar). If you can use these together well, you can seriously -blam!- with people. Also know that crouching and walking reduces the amount you ping on radar significantly. It is also insanely good on some maps due to lighting making it very difficult to see at certain angles/positions on the map. It isn’t nearly as free as before but it is honestly still very frustrating to play against, especially against coordinated teams and players who know how best to use it. Currently, it’s overshadowed by strand clones doing a similar job better, but frankly I doubt they leave strand clones untouched.

If you use Gemini Jester boots you can dodge to remove all nearby players radar for a few seconds, pair with smoke-bomb and Suppressor grenade. This build is great if you need a quick escape or a quick ambush.

2 RepliesWhat kind of crack are you smoking? I'm having fun with invisibility hunter.

1 ReplyDiving on top of people is always fun. Still got that. And a projectile that blinds* So
-
I'm sorry what? Invisible useless? So crouching Invisible and ambushing is useless?
-
It had a good run but it was annoying everyone with everything else that could go on during a match and with radar.
-
A smoke bomb hit on someone is a free kill. Oh no, the cheesiest bs got nerfed.

You know what the best part is? Bungie made it so when you use your invisibility you don't actually turn invisible, because they made it, so you have a purple shimmer that covers your body, and this is very much visible. Before void 3.0 I believe the hunter invisibility was like a whitish clear color, so it offered more camouflage than it does now. Now, you pretty much glow purple. I think when bungie nerfed invis, they nerfed it way to hard. Now you glow purple, you don't disappear off radar, and you don't break grenade tracking, It's like what? Also, I believe invis used to break AA (This might be wrong sorry) now it doesn't look like it does.

Nope. This wasn’t the most broken PvP class ever made and will never return.
-
Bro what? Back when I had my hunter, void is all I ever used. Even after the nerfs I was still doing well, if it wasn’t for life getting in the way and forcing me to choose one class, I would still be using invis in pvp

1 ReplyFun fact ppl still complain about it just moved on to hunter strand decoy once it gets nerf they will go back complaining about invisible hunter watch
