What Happened to Nightfall Rewards
I’ve played the Nightfall this week 10+ times and have yet to receive the new grenade launcher. Same thing happened to me for the new bow, which took me around 15 strikes to finally drop.
Bungie needs to incorporate an increasing chance at Nightfall exclusive rewards. After 10 strikes, it is demoralizing to not receive the reward.

1 ReplyYeah, you would have hated playing D1 nightfall expecting something to be handed out to you. At least back in D1 when you ran the nightfall, they actually offered decent rewards.

I would suggest running Legend. Higher chance, not too difficult but you’ll need to lfg.

If you're looking to simply get the item once, then I can understand the frustration, but if you want to farm rolls then you really ought to be playing on the higher difficulties - Master at least, GM preferably.

Play on harder difficulty and kill champions. Stop running Hero mode.

Play the GM difficulty and get platinum

Play master of grandmaster for it to drop since they have higher chance

Just need to get one then you can focus it.

You get two to drop pretty much every GM completion

The RNG is unforgiving on Hero. Playing so many Nightfalls on a given day won't guarantee a NF drop. It's best to play the odds that are against you and play a few games on Reset Day and then work your way through the week.

Well just run it on grandmaster and get platinum and you will get 2 adept drops every single clear.

Bungie heard the complaints about Lost Sector exotic drop rates and decided to make those the standard for Nightfall drops too. Really makes you [i]feel[/i] like you’re wading through that Lake of Shadows…
