The titles this season are disappointing
I might be alone on this but the two new titles are such a let down and unimaginative. We already have swordbearer, why would you give us wishbearer and wrathbearer? Wish keeper and warlord are way better titles and literal fit perfectly. Just feels like whoever came up with the names gave minimal to no effort in those titles

Calling The Witch Queen title Gumshoe was corny has -blam!- , yeah let's call a Title centered around a former enemy of the Travleler getting the light, after slang for a detective in 1950 And who wants to be a "Star Baker" , compare that to "Flamekeeper,GhostWriter and Champ" , nobody wants to flex there home-ec skills lol It's like they set around and think, "Ok here is the theme of the content, now whats the most vague, corny and out of left field thing we can come up with for the title Wishbearer is actually an improvement over Huspsraax(whatever that means) -

I'd be fine if they remove Titles. Just not needed or necessary.

But they can't be any worse than Scallywag or Gumshoe. Those are titles Bungie probably needs to pay people to use.

1 ReplyI wouldn't have minded so much if we hadn't just had the Crota's End title be Swordbearer. I get that they all make sense, but they all sound same-y too. I hope the next ones are more creative or meaningful; praying that the Final Shape Raid title is something akin to Gardener or Winnower, and not Witness-Slayer.

3 RepliesWhile we are a wish-keeper that name fits the bow more given we arent keeping rivens wish but taranis' wish. Warlord would fit worse given we arent a warlord. Wishbearer works given riven is the bearer of wishes (same as all ahamkara) and they are far more the focus of the season than we are. Wrathbearer is another good title since we are the wrathbearer and so is hefnds vengence (the final boss) Both are fitting when taken into context
