Can someone give some specifics or examples of activities unattainable for the average player?
If you can I'd be interested in seeing some gameplay to really help understand what's going on.

But I can bet money that 99% of the people complaining about this game being too difficult are the people that have no builds put together/have no idea of build crafting, have weapons that look cool to them, but have no functionality/any good perks on them. When I was primarily a solo player, I had a very hard time in this game, never thought I'd do raids, GM's solo-flawless dungeons, etc... But when I finally got into build crafting a few years ago, it completely changed how I played the game, and ultimately helped my survivability. I can also guaranty you that they are the people that run and gun through everything, hoping to melt everything away, and don't think twice about ducking behind cover, and take time to heal/regroup, or whatever. There is a plethora of guides out there from creators that focus on build crafting that have both builds and guides to help anyone, of any skill level. Take Mactics and Plunderthabooty for example, they have so much great information to help players with their builds that will drastically change the way you play. Again, not trying to disrespect anyone. I know from experience, and from talking to other solo players, a lot of people just want to "play the game they paid for" and have the "I shouldn't have to have a group" or the "I shouldn't have to rely on build to play a game" mentality. This game isn't and never was designed for the solo player in mind. It's always been about being in a fireteam. If more people would accept this, get out of their shells and learn simple build crafting and work on their situational awareness, this game becomes a cakewalk. I went from being the most anti-social gamer, refusing to group with anyone, to someone who's done over 200 raids in the last year and a half, to doing solo-flawless completions of dungeons. Bu9ild crafting will save your life, and your patience in this game. Sorry, went on a bit of a rant, but I hate when people say this game is way too hard and refuse to actually do anything about the way that they play.
