Why?
Why are you in this playlist to begin with? Why?
Why drag my team into the depths, going 3-9 and leaving light on the table by not casting your super?
Why?

Blame bungie matchmaking not them. 50/50 forced win loss SBMM instead of rank based is to blame for that. Unless they’re the type to just not listen, then they duck.

1 ReplyWhy don't you lfg ? If you depend on the system, you know what they say, Beggers can't be choosers They could just be running there 3 matches for the pulse and don't car , either way it doesn't matter, you don't go to a public area and start making demands

Guardians like you….🤢🤮

2 RepliesBounties. Now lemme do my work.

Because why not?
-
Because I can.

1 ReplyWhy do you feel like you have the right to question someone else’s desire to play a game or game mode that they have every right to play? Who tf are you?

2 RepliesWhat never fails to impress me is how often people on this forum post about their teammates and yet refuse to use the damn 'Fireteam Finder,' one of which is on the very site they post their complaints. No, wait, I bet I can guess what response I'll receive; "I shouldn't have to......" or some variation thereof, as if that isn't childish or lazy.

The idea of the comp playlist is to separate people into divisions/matches based on skill. It’s designed for all abilities. (Doesn’t work like that due to low population, but that’s not the players’ fault.) When you enter matchmaking, the deal is you get what you’re given. Anyone with specific requirements should make their own fireteam.

10 RepliesWhy not just make your own team so that the unwashed masses don't associate with you honey?

I want a good roll of rose

I’d have used my super so it wasn’t me. I may well have used it at the wrong time and unfortunately have ‘wasted’ it. But I would have used it.

1 ReplyIt’s just a game amigo. One day (possibly very soon) the games servers will be shut down and be no more. Nobody will care what your kd was in destiny 2 or what rank you reached in comp. It literally does not matter. It is pixels on a screen. Make a 3 stack if you care that much.

2 RepliesThat’s like asking why people throw away a win by default in Survival when they have a life advantage and instead chase down enemies only to get killed repeatedly. The population of this game is pretty stupid and selfish. That’s why I don’t bother trying to help people anymore. Also, I think PVP, in general, is full of FTP people and they’re either ignorant or incapable of learning.

Because everyone who has the game can play whatever mode and however they want

Edited by Swami: 12/21/2023 6:08:50 PMDidn’t expect to get so much attention… I’m flattered, truly. There just seems to be something wrong in the community, when most of the comments here can be boiled down to; “no one should be made to feel bad, ever” and frankly, that’s just not true. You’re going to face criticism in your lives my dears… and of all places, comp would be a place I’d expect to hear some criticism, if all that you’re doing is being a steady source of points for the opposite team... and not even remotely trying to go for the win. It’s unsurprising to see how so many tend to think this way… but yeah, if you’re that terrible at the comp playlist, expect to have something said about it by players who aren’t there to just mess about… the loot isn’t that good… so why waste everyone’s time?

3 RepliesI once had a game of comp where it was showdown, we were up 2-1 but were going to lose the round (it was like 9-1 with a few seconds left) so obviously it was going to go to Final Showdown. They had a bubble, but one of my randos had a tether. Obviously, I expect him to use his tether on the zone to stop them from bubbling. What does he do? Throws his tether away in the final 3 seconds of the round before Final Showdown, so we lose because they get a free zone cap and I fail a promotion series. I message him after like "dude what the heck why'd you do that" and his response? "Whatever man, I don't even care" Like bro, go play quickplay if you want to actively throw the game and leave comp for people who are actually trying.

1 ReplyBecause they bought the game and can play it if they want. Just like you. It’s not that serious. I’m betting you’re one of those players that obnoxiously starts shooting at your teammates at the beginning of a round or deliberately jumps off the map. Probably send ridiculous hate mail to people too. Not everyone who plays PVP is a try-hard who plays every day all day.

2 RepliesI'm not in your playlist sir or ma'am.
