Buff anarchy now that dragons breath does the same thing but better
Post nerf, anarchy really didn't have a place and now that dragons breath is in the game, it feels worse since they both do the same thing, but DB has solar synergy, can stun champions, and deals more damage. So here are my thoughts:
-Sticking enemies with anarchy jolts them. (making it stun overloads and give arc synergy) Enemies who are stuck by Anarchy now receive 25-30% more damage from all Gls (both special and heavy for you and your team) Also revert the ammo reserves nerf.
Doing this would give anarchy more versatility as well as make it a semi suport weapon like Ghorn. Given that gls have been in a pretty bad state for pve, I feel like this would also make them more viable for boss dps and give a nod to the Y3 meta of anarchy + mountain top.

Only thing fun about anarchy now is attaching the grenades to a sparrow lol

I think…. increase reserves, make it jolt majors and bosses when two grenades are stuck to them simultaneously.

1 ReplyHonestly, making it so it does full damage on the first shot and jolting targets it hits would be all the buff it needs. Solves the ammo economy issue and introduces 3.0 verbs. Could be a catalyst.

4 RepliesAnarchy was super-good for one season. BungLe removed the artifact mod that severely buffed GLs, and then actually nerfed Anarchy as well. This season they want us to use Dragons Breath. All other heavies will be forced into the back seat accordingly.

1 ReplyAnarchy is as over used in pve especially on bosses ….hence why it got nerfed . People quickly grow dependent on certain and it’s all they use .

1 ReplySo buff it to be better than Dragons Breath? What about Dragons Breath? I guess you would want to buff Dragons Breath again… but than what about Anarchy? Why not buff Izanagi or Witherhoard? You see what I’m getting at? We have too many exotics that either do the same thing or nothing… this is why 90% of exotics get incredibly low usage rates. This has been an issue with the game since Day 1 and will continue to get worse.

Also doesn't anarchy still retain its damage against champs? Just damage against bosses reduced? I would never mind a damage buff but imo it mostly just needs the reserves brough back up.

1 ReplyEdited by Magiscene: 12/18/2023 1:08:46 PMRockets will be nerfed when TFS drops (yes even with ghally’s stealth nerf), so they did rocket buffing mods to give us that last taste of their power before they nerf their dmg output by 15% like they did with linears, arc subclass, and anarchy. I predict bungie will give GLs or Machine Guns that damage buff they finally need to become meta.
