Farming Dawning materials feels broken, frustrating
Some Dawning bounties require specific things, like "kill X Taken or Hive." Cool, no problem. But running Vanguard Ops for a while didn't give me either of those enemies.
Ok, I loaded up The Corrupted, directly. Seems like Dawning materials don't drop while doing this. Absolutely zero snowballs from kills from any of us. Got a paltry handful of Essence at the end. Doesn't feel great.
Please allow Dawning ingredients and materials to drop in playlist-adjacent activities so we can actually complete necessary bounties.

Go to the planets where they spawn the most. Don't play a mode that mixes them up. Taken is the most elusive even in Dreaming City, so do Gambit.

Why are you farming materials? They drop all the time. Including in playlist activities like you asking lol. Sounds like you complaining just cause you didn't get the strike you needed for a bounty the first time you ran a strike. If you in that much a rush to get the bounties done, go to specific places to complete them, don't use rng of a strike.

Any non-patrol activity in which Snowballs can be spawned will display a specific modifier in the preview screen prior to launch. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

I ran Grasp to farm the Hive coming out of the loot cave to finish a couple of catalysts. Lots of ingredients, finished 2 catalysts (only 13 more to go lol)

2 RepliesIf you are having issues getting Personal Touch to drop use a glaive. I have yet to get one to drop from an actual melee ability hit but have gotten a few in the Dreaming City with my glaive.
