I'm sure this is a sales tactic to not let us preview the shaders before buying an armor ornament so that we might buy it to see it in our favorite colors but I'd like to say at least for me I don't fall in love with a look and want it badly until I see it in my colors. My wife also plays and she just got the dawning ornament set for 2023 and I didn't really care about it this year until she started viewing shaders on it. Now I'm gonna be grinding to get it myself and I can't help but wonder how many other sets I passed up because I didn't think they looked that good with the default shader.

Bump. agreed especially since it cost earnable currency or money also it helps find armor with un-shaderable areas or weird shader interactions also let us buy individual pieces!

2 RepliesI had another problem, bought a set in hopes I can repaint it how I like with the right shader, but none of the shaders worked as I wanted. Since then I'm even less inclined to buy anything.

I said this same thing yesterday to a clan mate. There are several sets that I dispise the looks of initially, but with the right shader, absolutely transform. Not being able to test a shader on something should never be a thing.

I've had similar thoughts regarding this issue. They've lost multiple sales from me by not providing an option to view alternate shaders.

3 RepliesI’ve been saying this for a long time. Even exotic ornaments. Granted, you can equip an exotic and preview it in the ornament section now, but that’s quite a few hoops to jump through.
