Cross Save Accounts
I originally made my Bungie account on Xbox and that is where my characters are technically saved. I started using Cross Save so I can play on my PlayStation because I switched a couple of years ago. With that being said, I ended up deleting the Microsoft account that was used for the Xbox profile I made my characters on; so, I no longer have access to that profile. I'm worried that if I disable Cross Save to add a different Microsoft account then I will no longer have access to my characters because that account was deleted and can no longer be accessed. Has anyone had similar issues and know if my account and characters can be moved permanently to my PSN account? I've talked to Microsoft, and they say there is nothing they can do about that Xbox profile since it was permanently deleted, and no new email can be added to access that profile.

You are not able to cancel cross-save if you are unable to authenticate the XBox account, and even if you could, the characters belong to that XBox account so you'd lose access to them. Are the characters even still accessible while playing on Playstation despite the parent account being deleted?
