Stasis Swords
we've only had one Stasis sword available in the past 3 years, and it's tied to an event which only premieres for 3 weeks annually. Strand released about 10 months ago, and we've already seen 2 unique swords which includes both the element, and Strand subclass verb perks.
Cold Steel has existed as a perk for three years, but is needlessly restricted to just a single stupid event weapon that has nearly identical perk combos every time.
Bungo has created an entirely new weapon type, made legendary, and kinetic slot legendary trace rifles, and produced nearly as many Strand weapons in less than a year as they have Stasis weapons in more than 3 years (54 Stasis - 39 Strand excluding adepts and duplicates, 62 - 47 including them), all since Beyond Light, yet there is still only one Stasis sword for some reason

Cold steel is a really good perk. Bungie wants to keep Zephyr as weapon draw for the Dawning for newer players. We’ll probably get some more soon, I just think at first Bungie was worried about the perk’s power if it was widely distributed

8 RepliesSwords just need better perks to sunset the old perks. I have enough swords with relentless strike and maybe vorpal or surrounded. Havent really felt the need to run other swords. Chain reaction is cool but for super low tier content. Cold steel is just another gimmicky perk with no solid use case.

So you want a stasis sword eh... best I can do is another stand 600rpm auto rifle... you want it or not?
