Seriously, good job sandbox team.
You've taken a useless super and made it viable. It's not too broken where you could Starfire spam, but you can still put out a decent amount on damage phases.

It's significantly better now - not hard, considering it was among the worst Exotics in the game prior to the buff - but it's the very definition of a swap item. The benefit it provides is outweighed by the large periods of time where it does nothing for you. It honestly feels more like a test for Song of Flame than anything else, as the effect is best on Solar. It's decent on Strand, and doesn't have to compete with much for that subclass, but most other Supers get very little benefit from the ability regen. Unless being used with Well, you would expect that your Super kills whatever you used it on, or at least gets it to a point where you don't need 10 more abilities to finish it off. That doesn't apply to bosses, of course, but those abilities are then weighed against using your heavy weapon and they'll likely lose unless they're part of a Demolitionist loop.

That helmet is still trash. Stop spreading misinformation.

1 ReplyWhat? It’s still a one time use exotic, Its still trash. Any exotic in this game that only works when using your ultimate is garbage, the best exotics in the game are the ones that are constantly buffing your neutral game. The very best god tier exotics are the ones that buff both your neutral game and your super.
