This iron banner gamemode is the worst in the game's entire history.
Forced deathballing the game mode is NOT FUN. It's a steamroll one way or the other there is no inbetween. Horrible horrible horrible mode. Please take it down.

2 RepliesLag / Latency are real issues in this IB. The ‘Invincibles’ are out in force doing their marvellous magic…and they now join up with their nut-hugging pals to camp those disappearing mote stations and steal everything. Mote thieves are having a ball. 🤬 I can’t see half of the enemies most of the time, and I get slotted from out of the blue, and by ‘never miss’ ohk experts who can map me with impossible shots - from weapon types that just can’t do that!? At least, mine can’t. 🧐 Is it fun? 🙄 No! ❌❌❌ The mind boggles!? 😵💫 Ease springs! 🫡

I usually have an open mind about objective based modes But merging Gambit and Supremecy was a terrible idea -
I could tell this mode was trash with just 5 minutes of play time

It is fantastically aweful! WTF were they thinking? Not to mention the matchmaking is atrocious at best. 99% of the matches I get in to are complete blowouts by the other side. I never get on a team that plays together, I mean, at least that would make it more tolerable. Bungie knows Gambit is the least popular thing in the game and they added it to Iron Banner for...who TF knows... Also, having to lose 3 engrams for an ornament you have to spend synthweave to unlock is a pure d(ck move.

The mode was fresh, a fun twist on Supremacy, and way more engaging than Control (A mode nearly 10 years old) could ever be! Sorry your brain *ahem* team couldn't handle the concept of kill confirm with an extra step to bank. The Hunt actually allows the losing team to make a significant comeback, if you actually knew how to work as a team. I play solo a lot, and when I do, I think about my team and roll with them to help push. It's not hard. Not every mode needs to be Clash or Elimination, and surely if you like Control you would want a harder sport to make you play more strategically. But please enlighten me how a basic mode since day 1 launch is more fun than Bungie trying something different. Sounds like you had a few bad matches and instead of blaming your team you just blame the mechanic and it's Bungie's fault. Okay kid

4 RepliesWow! First thirty posts on forums expressing hate of new IB - never seen that amount of uniform complaints on one subject before. The thirty below that are all pvp complaints too. How did their pvp strike team get it so wrong! Are they actually listening to this?

I am definitely the minority here but I actually kind of like it! I’ve never been a fan of Supremacy but I enjoy how they have to be deposited. In my experience (so far) when everyone is trying to deposit in the same location, alot of chaos is going on since everyone attracts to one (or 2) locations. That’s where I see the fun. Lots of multi-kills, teams getting wiped in one super - the suspense is great while anticipating each time how many kills you’re about to get. There are still a couple complaints, though: - Would probably be more enjoyable for some of it wasn’t the game type for Iron Banner. - Alot of people don’t seem to grab the engrams and deposit them. - I actually hate when the turrets spawn in (lol!)

5 RepliesWait until you spend 15 Iron Banner engrams to get all of the Iron Pledge ornaments only to find out they aren't universal and can only be applied to Iron Banner armor. So after spending 15 engrams, you still have to spend 5 synthweave straps to unlock them universally.
