Think about it Small map, close up encounters, range is there. Then you have the most important aspect YOUR GAME PLAY STYLE. some run around popping corks, some play peekaboo. There are many other weapon types that are just as good. with this being said, we also have the seasonal meta. weapons and elements get buffed some do not but eventually they will get nerfed to a workable level . They do this every season/ expansion. this season Hand cannons, Sidearms and rocket launchers are meta, as are stasis, solar and strand. See you out there.
