SPOILER I know how Cayde gets ressurected
[spoiler]In the new Unforseen Consequences ship, it shows Crow talking to Mara. Mara asks him what he would have changed about his pasts, and Crow says he WISHES he could talk to him and apologize. When he leaves, Mara says O brother mine, meaning she was actually Riven in disguise. [/spoiler]

Remember how ikora sees Cayde as a nightmare? The darkness made nightmares. I speculate the light creates “dreams” and ikora will be seeing Cayde in the traveler as a dream similar to how she interacted with the nightmare. If this makes sense.
