So how come Hunters, made to be a mobility and decoy class with strand, can easily spam threadlings in every engagement with double dodge and grenades, yet Warlocks (who's strand subclass is literally called Broodweaver and is made to be a summoner) can't spam them anywhere near as much?
Maybe I'm using the wrong build or something, but I played against a Hunter who had double dodge threadling spam every single enagment, and Warlocks can't get close to that number of threadlings - at least not anywhere near as often.

4 RepliesEdited by Dredgen Truth: 11/28/2023 10:35:42 AMThis is realistically a valid complaint, and the reason that I would give is because the aspect to get double grenades, clearly intended for grapple, is probably too strong when applied to the other grenades in the strand kit. However, for all the people talking about warlocks having no class identity in the comments, I would just like to point out that this is the exact way hunters complained about icarus dash. The class that was supposed to be mobile found themselves constantly slower than solar warlocks, whose movement ability was not tied to a resource and only on a five second cooldown at the time, whereas the hunters dodge was significantly worse for movement, and only allowed them to do it once every ten seconds or longer. I just find it interesting the double standard that some players apply to these arguments. Every class has had problems with class identity. Every class has had that problem at one point or another, and all of them seem to think they have it worse than everybody else.

I love how much warlocks cry after literally having the best neutral game for years at this point

9 RepliesBungie exhausts all their imagination and effort by the time they get to Warlocks in nearly every iteration of this game. Hunters: Break Titans: Break Warlocks: Hold up, Pump the Breaks.

8 RepliesYou should know full well that anything warlocks get, titans and hunters get to use it far more effectively and frequently. Warlock is the only class that has no way to instantly refund an ability. Titans and hunters can ability spam to no end, yet warlock, the space mage, has to wait between ability uses lmfao

Simple fix.

Threadings in general need a massive nerf
-
Ah I see the problem. We need to remove threadlings from pvp.
-
That’s only the case in pvp
-
Because Bungie is terrible at class identity. They say that Warlock is supposed to be the threadling class, but Hunter can make more. They say Titan is supposed to be the melee class, but they nerf all the Titan's melee abilities into the ground while leaving arc Hunter as the real best melee class. You'd think Hunter or Titan would be intended as the class that can suspend the most, but it's actually Warlock with suspending tangles and weaver's trance.

1 ReplyIts weird in pve warlock can spam more threadlings but in pvp hunters can spam them more, I don't exactly understand it
-
Bungies vision for warlocks is well and nothing else Oh wait that’s getting nerfed too

The grenades don’t really annoy me. It’s the fact they gave them to the decoy… why? Is it really necessary when the decoy is already so strong? Why not just give the blast unravel or something
