What happened to enemy density being the counter to our power? Now we are losing that power but everything is just as hard. Every boss has millions of health which only makes the META problem worse for PvE.
Instead of bringing the challenge back, how about we bring the FUN back into the game?

10 RepliesThere's really only a few options when it comes to FPS difficulty. Make enemies hit harder, and throw a lethal grenade every 2 seconds like in a Veteran CoD campaign. or Do what Bungie does. Limit heavy ammo, nerf abilities, supers, weapons and stats, increase enemy health, increase enemy attack frequency, forced crappy loadouts... I had so much more, but I kinda lost interest in my own post. Can't be bothered to finish. Hope y'all got the point.

1 Reply"Play how we want you to play or leave." That is the message this business has been sending for the last 4 years to their player base. (The question is, why do so many people try to ignore it by looking for BS excuses for this business actions that have been literally in front of all of your faces???) The original Bungie knew better. These people riding off their name have no clue. It started with the artifact, controlling what players use instead of designing one that benefits the player. I've watched since Activision left how they have been only focusing on how to control the player without it being so noticeable, instead of actually improving the players experience. Everything against what the original Bungie was about. In D1 it was designed to improve the players experience to an extent. In D2 it was literally designed to control what you use in certain activities to drag their content out with the rigged "RNG" that favors dropping garbage/duplicates a hell of a lot more so than anything else. They only recently gave you guys a little break with it after 4 years because they need to sell DLC. It's funny how when sales are low they pretend they listen, but only make tiny adjustments to keep that control over you.

I find shooting the guns fun

2 RepliesCause losers like saltagreppo cry and bungie listens

2 RepliesBungie: Fun? Don’t use the “F” word around here unless it’s “Fired” 😉🤣

1 ReplyThey couldn't add enough enemies to a room to outdamage the average players healing or dm, so they nerf the healing and dm. Odly enough this might push more class identity, Titans got hit the hardest for restoration but their restoration is still above the average to high damage threshold you face while hunters and warlocks are no longer above the stand still threshold. I'm really looking forward to these changes and how they could accidentally create more class identity that has been missing for a while with every class being amazing at everything

2 RepliesJust ran solo Devils Lair: Easier than last season New pulse legendary is strong Dragons Breath one shot walker Does not seem heavily nerfed, plenty of supers and ability regeneration. So far so good.
-
Make it easier? There should be no challenge what so ever?
-
They’d have to do what they did with Reckoning, make whole new encounter designs. But they already said they don’t want to do that again. Cause that takes effort. Fiddling with numbers doesn’t. Reckoning was a good example of how normal strength enemies can be used in a way to be challenging against powerful Guardians. But as I said, it takes effort and making content is hard for Bungie.

Edited by A_mo: 11/27/2023 4:10:55 AMThat's all the development of the game they're going to do until the end of time. Nerfs and boss health 1 million. That is definitely going to stay like that.
-
They seem to nerf for the purpose of pvp, if they would only separate from pve. If they didn't nerf them both at the same time so much, there wouldn't be such a issue

1 ReplyIt's like they don't play their own game. I can't survive a single wizard blast in Alters of Summoning on the hardest 2 difficulty, but apparently it's too easy to survive?

Edited by BraveDragonWolf: 11/28/2023 4:23:41 AMThis proves that our light is fading, and the darkness (who was bungie all along and is because our light is fading) is consuming us at a rapid pace... Guardians...we're not winning this war of light and darkness... It isn't our fate to win...

yes because otherwise the nerfs would be pointless Einstein.

1 ReplyI'm hoping someone can help me out. What are the loadouts that people are using for harder content right now? Excluding raid and dungeon weapons. Most of what I use has or is being nerfed again.
-
23 RepliesIs it that bad? I wouldn't know personally since the new season hasn't dropped for most people yet.
-
16 RepliesEnemy density IS fun for some of us. Sorry.
-
37 RepliesHow exactly are we losing power? Do people think this is an ability only game? We have weapons...
-
This is the challenge you wanted!
-
Enemy density is good for how powerful we are, stop overreacting.
-
What power are you losing exactly?
-
We have been doing nothing but buffing abilities to make the game easier and easier. The game has only been getting worse because of it, go play a Minecraft server or something if all you wanna do is fly around and nuke the entire planet.

I personally find the game at it's most fun when my buildcrafting and loadouts feel important. When you can just use literally anything to steamroll content no matter what it is, that's not fun. To me.
