At this point, I don't have any words to say to bungie because a.) I know they would rather listen to the streamers than regular players like myself and b.) I'm just tired of this game all around. My time and money investment into this game have both been disrespected, while repeating the same song and dance every season, accompanied with false promises of change. Not only that, but I've grown up too. I started playing this game when I was 14, late middle school when the house of wolves was released and have played ever since. Now I have successful career ahead of me as an electrical engineer and I have other things to do outside of gaming all day, much less for a few good hours on the weekend. The structure of destiny nowadays (well actually, since the introduction of the seasonal model) of forcing me to play or miss out on content is draining and I'd rather play games where I feel encouraged to come back on my own timing, knowing I can pick back up where I left off. The straw that really broke the camel's back though was the unnecessary balancing changes, taking away things that the general player base enjoyed and laying off many of your hardworking employees. I didn't preorder the final shape and I don't think I'm going to play it all together. Will I come back? I doubt it, and knowing bungie's track record as of late that will stand. I truly did enjoy this game and wanted to see it get better, but greed and discontentment for what made destiny "Destiny" has robbed me of all the joy I once had. It's time for me to move on.

42 RepliesThis is why I play Warframe, it's a much better game in just about every single aspect of it, and I don't have to worry about all the BS childish games this business plays to manipulate their customers. If this business wasn't such a selfish, stingy business and actually put effort into the game to actually improve it, I might be playing the game. But seeing what they have done and refusing to pull their heads out of the sand. There is no way in hell I'll ever install this game again.

1 ReplyI get it, people get angry when folks say goodbye. You invested your time and money but are feeling like you got burned for it. Venting a little on the way out, nothing wrong with that. You played, you paid, you get to have a say good or bad. There’s other games out there, enjoy them. None of them are really like Destiny but that’s good, when you want to come back it’s always there and you can be sure no matter how long of a break you take, nothing ever really changes in Destiny lol 😆

3 RepliesWhy is it normal to leave a whole sermon on the forums before someone “leaves” or “ uninstall” the game? Do you all know that you can play other games without typing anything? I know crazy right

Adios.

DO IT! I did it and feel free now. No more need to farm crap or doing stuff for FOMO. It's liberating! Now I just occasionally watch the forums in eating popcorn mode to see the anger and meltdowns. Bungo is getting what they deserve.

I'm gonna get up and have coffee.

3 RepliesDestiny 2 is perfectly playable as a 30 minutes here and there small investment game. To pull it off, don't buy seasons and wait until new expansions are heavily discounted. Want nothing and stick to solo or matchmade content. It might only be a shell of a game that way, but it's a competent shooter, and still better than any recent version of CoD Zombies. Well, excluding Black Ops Cold War. For PvP though, definitely look elsewhere.

I'll play next season since I already paid for it, but I'm not buying TFS. I think it's time I sunset my wallet

The streamer thing happens like it's on such a cycle that it just doesn't feel like anything all that new. Other things feel new though. And old at the same time.

1 ReplyI Uninstall sometimes also But I can reinstall it in 10 min
