After reading today's TWiD, it appears that Bungie has made the decision to sabotage this game on purpose.
Bungie - This will go down as a case taught in business school about how not to run a business. Enjoy being absorbed into Sony as Sony's live service studio.

1 Reply“Life is Pain again!” - probably some clueless game dev. Bwahahahahahaha!!! D2 in a nutshell! If their game needs a whole lot of overhauling and tweaking, then they don’t really know what they are doing. Game has been broken and empty for years. And it still is! Bwahahahahahaha!!! There’s nothing here. Game is devoid of soul. Empty and hollow! Bwahahahahahaha!!! Welcome to hollowness!

2 RepliesYou use up all the glue… On purpose. Not a finger!

Marathon is going to be pathetic and that’s lightly putting it.
-
Maybe the CEO wants to move onto developing the other games?

1 ReplyI honestly think so! Numbers get low enough they will have an excuse to just pull the plug.

Bungie: It’s been a Marathon not a sprint. 😉🤣

2 RepliesStop making it sound like Sony is the issue. Same old wrong spreaded info that was said when Activision dumped them. Bungie is the issue. Not some publisher that throws money at them. The only good times Destiny had were with Activision around. They need a proper hand holding publisher to force them to deliver. Without Activision, only trash and monetization was produced. Activision made Destiny 1 possible and they made D2 Forsaken. After the split, only garbage was made by Bungie on their own. Give them too much freedom and they show their real intentions. $$$ Only focus has been revenue ever since the split. Sony is just using them to learn from their live service experience. Sony knows that D2 is a lost cause, so why invest into it now at this last straw? Makes no sense. Sony clearly is NOT the issue.

Edited by Daffy, The Disappointed: 11/22/2023 9:13:38 PMI’ll see what this season has to offer but oof.. all those nerfs are gonna make the game even more boring. My Final Shape purchase just went from ‘unlikely’ to ‘not happening’.
