Season of the Wish is the perfect opportunity to drastically buff one of the coolest and most unique weapons in the Destiny universe.
My wish list:
1. More Ammo in the reserves
2. Damage increase (the exact percentage should be inversely proportional to how much overall ammo the weapon has)
3. Ability to cause ignitions
EDIT: I was mistaken. It does cause ignitions but I retain that it’s still not a good weapon. Or, at least, it should be much better.

1 ReplyI just wish it had a chance to be as loud as it was when it first came out. A 1/1000 chance perhaps.

Edited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 11/21/2023 4:58:03 PMIt had its brief time with particle deconstruction. Without that it needs more ammo reserves and a catalyst that significantly reduces self damage.

24 Replies1k slaps. Idk where everyone is getting this “it’s a bad gun” from. The only reason we don’t use it more is because it kills YOU almost as often as it kills anything else. Who told y’all 1k sucks. Stop listening to people and form your own opinions.
-
2 RepliesIt already causes ignitions Deeper pockets, target lock or controlled burst would be a great catalyst
-
Never been good since partical deconstruction
-
3 RepliesMy biggest problem with playing the game with meta on the mind at all times is that while utilizing the meta is effective, and efficient, it often isn’t FUN. 1k Voices is fun, if ineffective. I say keep using it. Have fun. It is a GAME, after all, right?
-
1 ReplyIt works well for Unstoppable this season.
-
9 RepliesFirst, they need to sell it in the kiosk or make it an open world drop (trigger warning)
-
Once it was good. Very good. It was also the first exotic to drop from a raid for me. First run Last Wish - my son accomplished it for me on my character - and 1K dropped. For many seasons my most favourite heavy AND exotic. Never took it off. Loved it, really really loved it. Until it became nerfed. Unfortunately the fate of ALL good weapons. Never a question of whether or not, sooner or later all good weapons become nerfed. It's the flawed logic of the Bungie "balance" team.

2 RepliesEdited by Lord Indra: 11/18/2023 1:05:59 PMI remember like a season or two ago, I was using 1k Voices for legend Dares lfg (it was FR modifier that week). As I was plowing away at the boss and blowing its back out, the host goes “wait… is someone using 1000 voices???” And he immediately starts dying of laughter and everyone chuckles. “I haven’t seen that gun in such a long time”. Shooting from the back of the room, I remain quiet and don’t confess to using it, maybe he won’t see me, because at this point I’m already assuming I’m going to get kicked for bringing this gun along for the ride. As I continue spamming 1k, he keeps laughing every time he hears the weapon go off. So then I start laughing too because I thought that he thought I was trolling by using 1K Voices, but I actually always liked 1K and looked for excuses to use it since it got “buffed” (mostly copium because the gun is pretty dookie butter, even with a scorch build). I guess my point is 1K is so niche in current Destiny 2 (aka bad) that I got laughed at for using it lol

2 RepliesI personally want it to be good so I can be that troll that pops bubble or towering barricade on “accident” to get a team wipe lmao
-
It was good, until bungo nerfed is. As usual
-
It causes guaranteed ignitions with the stupid fragment on, but it should do it for free.
-
More reserves and a damage bump would make it far more usable than it is currently
-
1000 voices was top DPS back when Garden of Salvation was the newest endgame challenge. It had a time.
-
2 RepliesStill good for being fun, just needs a bump in reserves or reload. It can be a beast again if we get that fusion rifle weaken mod again.

3 RepliesEdited by Seki: 11/18/2023 2:10:14 PMIt is not a good weapon but were you even playing the thing recently? It causes scorch and thus ignitions (can do an ignition after a single beam). However it causing ignitions didn't save the gun; that's how bad it was before. Also, If this is meant to be used anti-champion then the ignition needs to happen before the actual damage comes in from the delayed explosions, because like this, you are wasting a shot into a champion to THEN stun it. 1: yes 2: more damage: yes (No need for us to care much about the details)

1 ReplyAlso add a stat tracker for number of times you suicided yourself while using it. Intentional or not 🤣
-
1 ReplyIt’s my favorite raid exotic! It should have had a damn catalyst a LONG time ago, along with ALL OTHER raid exotics.
-
1 ReplyMaybe the catalyst could be controlled burst and deep pockets. Not sure if that would make it high on the dps charts but it would probably help make it more useful
-
1 ReplyJust give it the "Deep Pockets" catalyst, sure its not creative but some times the most simple solution is the best.
-
5 RepliesCorrect me if I’m wrong but doesn’t it already ignite targets. Granted you have to hit them with the full burst but I’m pretty sure it does
-
5 RepliesMore ammo is definitely needed The damage it does is actually really good, could be more Also it already can cause ignitions
-
3 RepliesI’d say: - Up reserves to 14 (+ 4 in the mag) - Drop charge time to 680. - Increase scorch stacks so you don’t need to be on Solar for ignitions. Make it the fusion’s fusion
