Bubble needs to be nerfed, my suggestion would be to revert the animation speed buff. This would prevent players from sprinting in and popping without any concern with the possibility of dying. You used to be able to die during the bubble pop animation, I am not sure why that changed.
Over Shields on barricades need to be removed once you leave the barricade. Think healing rifts, there could be a purple circle behind the shield. You should not be able to peek with this over shield, this should help protect you from being pushed and nothing more.
Threadlings need to be looked at in crucible. After defender titan gets its long deserved hit, strand is going to be a problem. The spammability of this class is absolutely ridiculous.
Bows and WAVE FRAME grenade launchers both need to be adjusted. Bows just need to do less damage, they play way too closely to special weapons. Wave Frames are also free damage, so let’s make them do less of it to guardians.
SMGS: Not much needs to be said here, they’re easy and still the best guns in the game.
Targeting mods: instead of +10 Aim assist, let’s have them reward us with +10 AE.
Allow for less aim assist stacking on snipers. I am not sure why MnK has been the target for so many flinch nerfs when controller aim assist is the main thing allowing for so many ridiculous flinch snipes.
In the future:
Let’s take a second and think before adding exotics like Antaeus wards or renewal grasps to the game. This is a first person shooter, not smite. Destiny was at its greatest when it leaned into its gun play. We don’t need smite like abilities.
When adding new abilities, be creative instead of stacking random and annoying boosts onto class abilities and calling it a day. (Barricades, hunter dodge with slow, ect.) We need to un-power creep abilities and either make entirely new ones, or just not make a bunch of new ones at all. Focusing on content would be super cool. PVP maps, maybe raids! I’m sure that subclasses take a lot of effort, we do not need more and it would be nice to focus on the game’s size and playability.

Bubble and WoR just need to have their cooldowns brought in line with shutdown supers like Blade Barrage and Shadowshot.

Just walk away from it / pop your super / use conditional / team on it “BuT wHaT iF iT’s On ThE cApTuRe PoiNt?” That’s dominion’s fault, not bubble or well’s. Also, the complaints about overshield barricades have been done to death. The overshield tanks one hit. [b]One.[/b] and on top of that, you can destroy the void barricade faster than you can destroy a CoToG or Stasis turret. Complaining about the tank class being able to tank 1 extra shot is like complaining about Hunters having good mobility or Warlocks being able to heal.

7 RepliesEdited by $Three: 11/15/2023 6:12:19 PMyou either have to remove bows from the game or learn to deal with it. their ttk is already a joke. you can't nerf them to three draws for a kill, that's nonsense. bows were "cheese" before the monarch nerf when you could body someone up close and melee for the kill, or crit someone at range and hot swap to Rose for a body kill. That was dirty, dirty play and I loved it. But it's gone now, and bows, even Monarch are in the best place they can be, and still exist. they're not popular in trials. i see them a bit in comp, but not much. they're all over 6s, but 6s are chaos, and most bow users are bad. i honestly think bows frustrate people because they highlight weakness in their game. you can't just cross open spaces off of cover when bows exist, and you can't push through open lanes with damage on you. oh no, you have to play fundamentals or you get punished... in 6s... which doesn't matter.

Bubble is fine. It’s been untouched and suddenly it’s an issue? No. The only reason why it seems like an issue is because of the stupid modes that force you to cap one zone. It favors support supers like well and bubble. In any other mode, bubble and well are just normal. Any super that isn’t a support súper counters both supers.

Game would be better instantly if they removed class abilities from the crucible just like d1. No overshield or cowardly waiting behind barricades, no green clones/health regen on dodge or any of the hunter bs and no standing like a -blam!- getting your health back infinitely and getting dad assists that have auto aim and boost your ttk. Maybe they could say lore wise that they decided crucible should have rules to stay a little bit harder in order for guardians to train better against the aliens or some -blam!-.

Number one: Consistency in connections. I think 3v3 are in a good place now. Rarely have I seen such atrocities in trials or comp that I keep experiencing in IB or control. The system obviously can't handle it. I'm on series s with direct fibre.

There’s no longer a neutral game in Destiny. Neutral game now is just whatever is not on cooldown. And we have so many options. Overshields and barriers Radiance and healing grenades, solar 3.0 in general Hunter strand dive Bows, anything and everything Fusion range is almost totally unpredictable Cheese. It’s all cheese. When you opt to just use the most busted thing you can come up with because you no longer feel like trying to read what your opponent is doing, or that you even can, we have a problem.

Smite level is a good way to describe when things start to get to hard to account for in destiny pvp. And with stuff like that it can still be powerful in PvE nowadays so there's really not much reason to say it would be pvps fault if things weren't. There's a lot of good suggestions but with things like threadlings and coldsnap grenades it would be cool to have less autobot stuff driving around (and working differently for people) in pvp. Sometimes it's okay but sometimes it can be pretty bad to say what's going on with that stuff somehow has something to do with matchmaking.

It has been absolutely -blam!- for the longest time, and nobody has called for buffs. If it gets higher usage rate, it is what it is. I mean, GLs in general are just annoying, but I think that they’re fine. Bows on the other hand are just dumb. They need to be either special ammo weapons, or they need to have significantly reduced body shot damage. In general, 720s and 600s just need a range reduction. There’s no reason for them to have 22 meters of range. 20 meters should be the cap, and all SMGs should have a TTK no faster than 0.8s. And they’re easier to use on MnK, I’ve used them. Bungie should just nerf the Aim Assist on Opening Shot. Opening Shot is only used on Shotguns and Snipers for the most part anyways (with the exception of Hand Cannons, but there’s better perks out there), and the Aim Assist isn’t needed on Shotguns. So Opening Shot should mainly just give only 10 Aim Assist as opposed to the usual 20. Hitting 100 Aim Assist on Snipers is easy now, and it’s just too easy. I think Bungie needs to work foremost on latency issues within the Crucible, matchmaking times, and constant server issues.

Well, aside from nerfs - btw spam is a part of the game, just have that Aloha spirit and find your inner spam like you’re Hawaiian - matchmaking is terrible for the most part. I had a 90 (something) to 30 (something) loss in IB last night and the other team was not that good, I was getting -blam!- at the spawns though (which is really annoying) and literally couldn’t do anything but defend the one zone we had. Can you guess what I stopped doing after that? Well if you guessed “stopped playing” you’d be right.

However with the lack of resources at Bungie as we all know from the bloggers to Bungie news we could be waiting for changes that may never come at all. See you out there guardians.

They just need to increase bubble cooldown to like 6:40 and after that give it a buff to the half way point between what it is now and when they hard nerfed it a few seasons back

1 Reply-Bubble just needs it's tier lowered so all the counters to it are available at the same time. -Shields on barricades should function just like they do on rifts. Easy. -Threadlings just need a bigger hitbox to kill them. -I don't have a sane bow take. I hate them lol. -Agree on SMGs but not sure the exact fix. I lean towards more recoil but idk. May feel like cheeks. -Just add an AE mod. Targeting does still get use for AA. -Lower base aim assist on snipers. Force building into it for it to be good.
