These are being abused they are not balanced. When the computer takes over for a player in pvp its wack. I dont respect it. I tried them on my hunter. Its fun but broken. This is why. If you are chasing me down or get the drop on me i just dodge backwards and my clone breaks line of sight and for a brief period disables your aim assist. My cooldown is so fast that i can have them constantly. Not only do they track aggressively they also jump too. They are scorn screebs. You might as well let us summon war beast to fight with us. Tracking grenades take no skill. They should either have a longer cooldown or be nerfed. THE DODGE ABILITY SOULD NOT START ABILITY REGEN UNTIL THE CLONE IS DESTROYED. Like using mask of bakris. And why does dodge need to disable aim assist anyway? Fix this please.

1 ReplyNerf hunter dodge. Fixed Threadlings are not the problem.
-
1 ReplyHow about an exotic where you are invincible boy that would be great That would shut these whining nerf azzholes up. Or let them pull their Lil pvp hair out trying to nerf that.lol.
-
1 ReplyRadar confusion, tracking grenades, zone control, automated aggressive push on detonation Complete disregard that dropping bombs on dodge is a hunter exotic already ….and I’ll I want is for void and solar warlock melee to do more than tickle fight opposing guardians.
-
1 ReplyJust shoot shoot them nerfing them just going to make them useless in both modes that's exactly why stasis coldsnap gernade became trash outside the warlock with the exotic
-
1 ReplyThreadlings require no skill and are as annoying as the other homing abilities such as the child of the old gods, arc souls, and axion bolts. All of those should be taken out or changed in massive way. Also, dodge hasn't disabled aim assist in years.

These are being abused they are not balanced. I dont respect it. I tried them on my hunter. Its fun but broken.
So you are complaining about some broken pvp stuff after you used it yourself ? Typical pvp sweats .. Why does bungo needs to nerf something so you pvp sweats can stop abusing it 24/7 . It is like you pvp people don't know how to use something that is not strand , just hit your shots and use skills .. I see so many pvp posts about broken pvp stuff , then simply don't use it ! If the majority would have some respect for the game and not trying to break the game 24/7 then pvp would be fun . But no , he shot me with his big pewpew so i am gonna take my big pewpew 😑

Threadlings are annoying but to me they’re about as annoying as someone spamming Axions or Coldsnaps. What I think is really the issue is thread of generation (needs to be nerfed in PvE ONLY) and the Hunter Decoy aspect. Hunter decoy is effectively a mini-barricade, a trap, and a dodge at the same time. 200 HP barricade, deals decent damage and creates threadlings when enemies are near or when destroyed, and totally messes with aim. On controller, reticle friction makes it basically impossible to hit a hunter hiding behind a decoy while allowing them to shoot through it. All of this on the shortest ability cooldown in the game.

It’s just annoying lol

elitegmatchmake onslaught, add brave arsenal - old
Its not balanced at all.. the damage is too much vs say child of the old gods that is much slower stationary (you just move away).. Just my maybe unpopular opinion > I wish that Bungie didn't think more subclasses were key to the game.. that's a farm your current community measure (not a bring new players because we are the king of this kind of PVE content and Destiny 2 PVP style.. invest in the best anticheat.. you could have monetized PVP.. Stasis and Strand was an uneeded fork in the road) -
6 RepliesNo. This would disproportionately punish Warlocks. And I'm a lil annoyed how often Warlocks get punished for playing correctly.
-
Just run explosive payload weapons, instantly destroys whole groups of threadlings. Just be careful about positioning when you do this as with all other strategies in this game.
-
1 ReplyIsn't this where someone normally puts .. LOL 'Get Gud scrub' .. Just saying ...
-
It's nor as overpowered as free overshield from barricade, but annoying as hell on closed and small maps
-
2 RepliesWell, they probably need to sell a few more copies of Lightfall, so it'll probably be a problem a little longer. I mean, I wouldn't know, PvP is not good enough for me to bother with, but just like with The Colony, Jotunn, etc... the crutch will be replaced with another one eventually.
-
Agreed, it’s way overpowered
-
Thank you!
-
they also jump too.
🤣🤣🤣
-
2 RepliesIt's a space magic game.
-
8 RepliesPretty much everything has tracking now. There’s no need for keep improving your skills since the game does the heavy lifting for you

1 ReplyEdited by ARNAGHAD: 11/14/2023 10:16:29 AMToo many people are spamming waveframe gls followed by a bunch of threadlings. It's very annoying. However - this game is FULL of annoying sh. You've also got warlocks that use waveframe gls with that stupid slide melee, that can oneshot entire fireteams. Absolutely idiotic. As if the people making the game are doing that on purpose. Pve and pvp, it's everywhere.
-
Haha they are such a pain. I find them annoying when I'm using a hc
-
As a hunter maine I agree threading r pretty over powered
-
6 RepliesThats Frcking wild coming from a guy using auto tracking no talent arc souls for him and his entire team. get the Frck out of here!
-
5 RepliesThey are slow, easy to kill with low health and have a sort range. If anything I feel like they need a buff. Also they deal low damage, they have like 50 health and deal 50 damage over 3 meters and have a leap range of 4 meters. The only time they get annoying is warlocks who have them purched after consuming their grenade.

3 RepliesEdited by Kiro - 13: 11/13/2023 11:09:49 PMI dont believe they are game breaking or meta defining. That being said I do potentially see to changes being made to the threadlings. Their hit detection is not the best, often when attempting to shoot them they are not destroyed even when directly aiming at the threadlings. Axiom bolts had a simliar issue, I expect this to be changed so they can be destroyed more consistently. The improved travel/tracking distance is a bit much. Ive seen the threadlings start at the vex gate in the center of the map by the entrance to the caves track all the way to a guy standing behind C(close to tree) on Radiant Cliffs.
