You know? I feel like matchmaking everything outside of raids is the best idea, provided the devs can keep things operational. I know we're getting in game LFG. I'm not against it, but I really don't think it will go well, specifically because its the Destiny community. The only thing in this game that needs communication is Raids, Competitive PvP, and maybe Trials. Those last two are pretty niche, so I don't consider them too heavily. With PvP you can generally work pretty well just observing team movement. My friends and I use mics doing GMs, but we don't even really communicate about the game, we just bs about whatever and finish just fine. I mean how many times has the majority of this base done Strikes a million times anyway? We have a pretty good handle on this stuff. I do have a big question though... If the studio couldn't handle Destiny 2 before layoffs; and let's face it, that is fact, just looking at the dismal state of this game; but should we really expect things to get better with 8% of the staff missing now, on top of 45% less expected sales, with a team who doesn't seem to be motivated enough to make it better? Not to insult, as crass as it may sound. That means less overall put into this, and you know almost everything is going into Marathon anyway. Maybe asking for anything but fixes for the abysmal operating condition of D2 [i](you can't even view weapon perks in Tower vault. Its THAT bad.)[/i] is too much. Maybe we should just be asking to focus on fixes, but I had thoughts; figured why not?
