I'm already seeing the "have sympathy for us" and "this isn't easy" type of twab.

100% chance they just ignore the lay offs and maybe mention the delay but say things like, it needs more time to be extra good.

-blam!- them. I love this game but they lost me when they changed seasons having to be bought with silver, then have the audacity to make me buy more silver than I need for the season. If they don't change certain practices I hope this ship sinks. I love the game but enough is enough already and the hell with thr devs too, no of them are innocent.

Nobody feels bad for Bungie they made the decision to move away from Destiny for other projects. It is crazy because Destiny is the only thing that makes them money.

I doubt they even acknowledge anything happened. If there even is a twab (I think hippy got let go), I predict a bunch of tripe about space grandma and what a great event FOTL was.

Pretty sure Twabs are written a week or 2 in advance. Half the people that worked on it (quality control, messaging, general coms) might’ve even been fired… Doubt we’ll see anything there. Hopefully we’ll get a more targeted thing soon though.

Seeing as the TWID was probably mostly written before the layoffs, we'll probably get something like "We are sure that you heard there have been some changes around the Bungie offices. We're working on a separate blog post to address those changes in a much deeper, more serious way than we could in a TWID post. Expect to hear from us about that soon, though." Fast forward 8-10 weeks to when we finally see that post.

13 RepliesThey’ll tell us how excited they are for FS and how well things are progressing, how the delay was purely to give us the fantastic finish to the saga we deserve and implement changes due to feedback from the community, because they really are listening and because they care so much, seeing as we are all family. They’ll tell us how the game is having strong numbers everyday and pre-order numbers are up. They’ll tell us of some amazing upcoming additions to Eververse that they know we will love. They’ll tell us of another amazing foundation that they are fundraising for, so be sure to donate. They’ll tell us they received an overwhelming response to how great Lightfall was and can’t wait to improve on that with FS, because they just know how much we will love it because they’re all really excited and can’t wait to reveal more at a later date.
