1 ReplyI take everything Mr. Tassi says with a grain of salt.
-
2 RepliesThe decision to cut definitely came from Sony, but Bungo decided who specifically.

1 ReplyPaul tasi doesn’t know all his knowledge he’s the destiny cry baby who plays the jernoulist who cried wolf to bungie and harassing the devs

18 RepliesAccording... to literally everyone else, it was a Sony decision. Tassi the person that was taking compromised information from an NDA breaker? I'll accept the preponderance of evidence from multiple sources across many news outlets over someone with a reputation of burning bridges & suspicions of unethical conduct. Tassi IS often & has been the laughingstock amongst gaming journalists for a while. Except now he's the authority? People are reaching... twisting in knots to defend Sony. So many sheep. Meanwhile, Naughty Dog devs... Media Molecule, now Bungie... family's... out right before the holidays. Higher energy costs across the globe, inflation of food costs and basic necessities... Laid off without warning. It's Sony. It's been Sony. The game IS the worst it's ever been UNDER Sony. Full stop. Worst servers, worst content... lowest player numbers. Ever.

9 RepliesPaul Tassi also tweeted this an hour or so later https://x.com/paultassi/status/1719409410148081950? Basically Sony said make cuts. Bungie decided who and when.

Some of the decisions around this round of layoffs do look scummy, but Tassi is a lazy blogger and an even less trustworthy journalist.
