A Message from the Bungie Team: Exotic Armor changes ahead of Season 23
As you may have noticed, some Exotic armor changes coming in Season 23 were shown a little earlier than anticipated and we wanted to take a moment to clarify a few things.
What has been shown is not the full scope of Exotic armor and tuning changes coming next Season. The unintended preview is a small part of larger tweaks on the way, for all classes, that we're excited to share soon.
While the descriptions of some of the Exotic armor were updated, it's important to remember that they will continue to function as they did prior to the launch of the v7.2.5 update that went live on Oct. 17 with the exception of Young Ahamkara's Spine and Antaeus Wards, which were part of the mid-season tuning update.
For those interested, here are the six Exotics that were included in the early reveal that will have no changes to behavior before Season 23:

St0mp-EE5
Mechaneer's Tricksleeves
Celestial Nighthawk
Synthoceps
Karnstein Armlets

Might as well be walking around in all legend gear with just a stick equipped cause everything else is subject to poor design choices and bad quality of life changes with you lot. I want to emphasize that most of your "changes" have just been pointless because all your doing is adding surge mods on certain exotic armor pieces and moving on which is just lazy. You could have done so much more but chose not too plus most of the changes are redundant as your just removing nerfs to certain exotics that you ruined on release like the thunder clap exotic. Or your making old exotics merge perks with better exotics like foe tracer and knuckle head sure its not a bad decision but foe tracers new perk kind of sucks now and knuckle head is a bit too strong. Its great that your trying but could you not ruin the dynamic of old exotics to make for better gameplay and just make better new exotics instead and not nerf them into the ground on release.

Edited by stinkych33Ze: 10/20/2023 3:46:17 AMYAY BUNGIE. im going to love using behemoth next season which will no doubt have not changed at all because the stasis changes will be disappointing. and even if they’re good, what does it matter. dunes are literally the only usable titan exotic. fix titan, its literally horrible. barricade was nerfed into oblivion, as well as almost every titan aspect. and what wasn’t nerfed was bad to begin with. hunters have an armada of cracked exotics, and now stompees are better than pre nerf. it is honestly getting ridiculous that the only reason titan even shows up in the patch notes is bc you consistently roll over on your when the hunter playerbase requests a nerf. man up and stop catering to all the whiny hunters. how about you actually do something for once and show warlock/titan exotics and abilities some love in pvp. but you just think “oh well maybe if we nerf literally every exotic/ability/super/aspect that titan has, that will stop the hunters from yelling at us.” except that makes stuff worse bc then you demolished an entire class and you get even more hate for that, and on top of that now you have to baby the hunter players and supply them with whatever buffs they want. they have made you their -blam!-. explain your horrible fking thought process.

Only comment I even care to do anymore is. Bungie fiddles with the game way way to much . One season they buff a class ,the next its trash and nerfed. Back and forth with no clear direction other then they add things in to lure your money out of your pocket just to have them nerf it shortly after. Nothing I have seen in the 5k hours I have played has broken this game ,not even bug weapon weekend. Its all about holding you back so it takes you longer,grind more to get the same loot you used to get in less time. I ran raids I find them boring and slow . I do like GM's but the loot is garbage when it should be some of the best in the game. What's left after your home is playing GM's in this game, there isn't one.

Communication can't only be a priority when the next expansion is coming up soon and preorders aren't as high as expected.

1 ReplyIf skull of dire ahamkara doesn't get a similar rework to celestial nighthawk and shards of galinor, that would be some bs. Those exotics might actually be busted as well especially shards u can get infinite knife kills in a row atm. Make skull so u get super energy on void debuffed targets or when u have a void buff and u got a nice rework to that exotic. Then if u wanna add a little spice to it bungo take out the old effect and make it so it buffs nova bombs damage.
