Was playing quickplay as usual and I matched a streamer and he says he’s going to use his community to mass report me in hopes of getting me banned somehow it’s really frustrating knowing streamers can use there reach for this when all I was doing was playing qp please let me know if there’s anything I could do :)

1 ReplyEdited by Lumis: 10/17/2023 9:18:51 PMBeing mass reported can't get you banned on its own. Bungie will investigate your account to see if you're doing anything that violates their ToS and if you're not you have nothing to worry about. It wouldn't matter if a million people reported you.

Don’t worry too much about him and his 2 viewers lol
-
Just block the user, and their mental illness stops being your problem. It's magical.
-
That's an empty, baseless threat. Bungie doesn't ban based on reports alone. Meanwhile, you could report that threat to Xbox or PS and they would be coms restricted for a couple of weeks. I don't know what you would do on PC, but if it were me I would follow that streamer around on YouTube and copy and paste that threat onto his comments over and over.

Must have like 3 viewers cause no way a big name is going to do that. It's probably against tos for harassment and can be shut down as a streamer. Report em with chat logs.

Stop lagging balls then

Sound ....fake

1 ReplyTell him that your uncle is CEO of the internet and if he doesn't stop his nonsense you are going to change the password on his router the next time you are at his mom's house.

Give some context bro people don’t just randomly say they going to get their views to report u also if u are not cheating why care u sounding like a 12 year just like the other guy.
-
12 RepliesLet me guess… that guy is probably in WARD clan right… Well we are at war against WARD clan already so you can just join our side.
-
If you weren’t cheating in any way, you’re not gonna get affected. Probably some idiot with 2 viewers with no life, so don’t worry about it.

You could just ignore it and crack on. I would.
-
I’d ignore it, if somehow you do get banned mention this instance in the appeal and the ban could be reflected back at the streamer.
-
ignore them like any normal person would do ? they prob have 2 mates watching them anyway lol

I think technically someone could get in trouble for false accusations because it's abusing the reporting system and wasting resources. Streamer will probably take themself out with their own stupidity. If you have proof to show Bungie, might speed up the process.

Doing you a favor in my opinion

you will not get banned for mass reports
-
You good.
-
Bungie do reports manually so you'd be fine.

Edited by Golden: 10/17/2023 12:27:08 AMI’ve been threatened countless times by smaller streamers and players when they got outplayed or bagged them for fun. Still playing 7 years later with no issues. Nothings gonna happen if you did nothing wrong, report them, block them and go on your day :)

You’ll be fine.
