Blade barrage is so so so not reliable.
I just point blank supered someone and they walked right through it

I think it's a connection problem. I've been blade barraged and was certain I was dead since knives exploded on me but I survived and was able to stab him to death hahaha I play alot of aussies being on the west coast and boy do they lag.

I think it hits more than it misses. Speaking from someone on the receiving end. I can never escape it lol

Try needle storm… then blade will feel like the most accurate super in the game.

Blade Barrage, Silence & Squall, Gathering Storm, Shadowshot (why do Hunters have so many shut-down Supers?) Thundercrash, Fist of Havoc, Nova Bomb, Needlestorm, Chaos Reach, Stormtrance (with Landfall)... None of these Supers should have armor (except Fist of Havoc and Stormtrance, though honestly I believe none of the Supers have armor). The number of times I've nailed the required number of precision hits on someone just for them to panic-Super on the last one, turning the tables, is unfathomable high and frustrating all the same.

Have to disagree here. Most definitely requires precision and accuracy. Very small margin for error and if you miss then there are naturally consequences. When executed perfectly, it reaps the reward!

I’ve noticed that if you cast blade barrage while moving backwards, or while sliding the blades have significantly less spread. But if you cast it while moving forward or while airborne, they have significantly more spread.

2 RepliesYup. I've blade barraged (Hunter) or nova bombed (Warlock) in PvP to watch some people never even take damage from it and yet it kills other people near them or sometimes me. That's because Bungle can't be bothered to have Regional Dedicated Host Servers, and instead relies on Peer to Peer Networking they developed back in the 2000 ish Halo Era.

There’s a fragment that helps the projectiles track targets more aggressively. Not worth running without it Imo

Yup, been saying for a while that it's tracking and velocity are a problem. The blades move too slow and the tracking is too strong, this causes wierd interactions where blades will sometimes slingshot around enemies or just flat out miss. The thing I hate the most is when I cast it and the enemy is just around the corner or hiding behind a small piece of cover and rather than the blades peppering the area and the aoe killing them, they tend to track and just hit the cover rather than the ground around the cover.

The other day, I got less than 400k, with having should a couple of Grand Overture shots on top of that. Star Eaters is a 90% buff to supers, but mathematically, that makes zero sense for it to go from 850k by itself to below 400k with a couple G.O. shots that are about 23k each on Warpreist. I think I had 3 Feast of Light instead of 4 at the time it was about 350k damage total. But over 850k with 4 Feast of Light? Yikes. I have used it an Atraks recently with Star Eater Scales and it just was embarrassing... Parasite made such a massive difference than just using the super alone. The damage was laughable with Blade Barrage on Atraks. The Titan Thundercrash with Curiauss was remarkably better. Honestly, it makes me sad they would nerf it so badly. It is effectively less than half what it was, in PVE. As for PVP, you are using the fragment that specifically increases the target acquisition of the blades right? There is an aspect that also increases the number of blades thrown. Other than that, though, it's honestly Bungie we are talking about. Hit registration is wonky. I legit watched a Titan with sentenal shield bash a Warlock and the Warlock literally just stood there and punched him once and the Titan died. Even though it was extremely clear the shield bash hit him, it just decided not to register at all.
