The nerf on linears and Veist Stinger was too much. Bring them back
Title, pretty much. Bring linears closer to dps with rockets, please. Yes, I'm looking at you, Taipan, but not only. Veist used to be a fun perk, but it seems we aren't allowed to have fun.
Just my 2 cents.

3 RepliesI think veist stinger being nerfed on every weapon due to linears was a tad bit too much but linears are in a pretty strong spot even Queenbreaker which we all meme on still has pretty high dps and total damage. Maybe they could use a buff against champions but they're honestly doing very good.

Craft a cataclysmic or briars contempt of you want to use a linear 🦞🦞🦞 Edit: I said that a starter weapon isn’t a good option. How is this even a point of contention?

Rockets are 1 ghorn nerf away from being bad, so keeping a few good Linears is always a good option. Swords and GLs are too niche, and Machine Guns are amazing at what they do but that’s not boss DPS. After the Div nerf, I think Linears could get a small increase and still be 100% balanced. Veist Stinger is fine, just needs an activation chance boost on primaries.

The Veist Stinger perk never procs on Sidearms. Maybe I'm the only person that affects, but I was just throwing it out there

Seems like its about time they came around again. The linears seem to have become one of those things almost everyone likes until we all start going a tad overboard with them.

They went from being the best dps for every boss to the best dps on not every boss. They’re still insanely good just not the end all be all of damage

6 RepliesThey’re perfectly fine as is. Rockets miss a lot and require ghorn. Linears are long range consistent dps. They don’t have to be #1 pick to be viable

It was too easy to use for what it was there still in a good place but shouldn’t be top dps meta for what they are

Have you tried the “fire and forget” I have one with Veist stinger and it activates really often since it’s a burst fire.
