Anyone? As a solo it feels worse than ever.

7 RepliesIt actually doesn’t. I’m just talking to some guardians in another thread who opened my eyes to the fact that the MM is great and it’s all because I’m bad at PvP. So the MM is not the problem. Playing 2v3 is not the problem. Facing m&k and Cronus cheaters on console is not the problem. The lag especially in cross play that trivialises the whole concept of weapon TTK is not the problem. Being disconnected is not the problem. No no no … it’s you! And according to them, it’s also easy to fix. Because regardless of how long you’ve played and how much effort you put in, have you ever thought about helping your teammates in a fight? Hm? Or have you ever thought about playing the objective? Yeah? I didn’t think so. So with these valuable tips and the knowledge that the game is perfect and all the bad experiences are actually rooted in player behaviour, I’m sure you can sort out your problem by yourself.

4 RepliesLove all the people who say the population is too low lol, 195k people played trials this weekend according to trials report of which 57k went flawless. It’s not low players, it’s the player. I went flawless twice as a solo this weekend, once on mercy and once on confidence. Just stick with your team and if you get a lead don’t start playing aggressively for no reason.

2 RepliesWas never designed for you to play solo, so count your blessings that you can que as one. Absolutely abysmal player count is mostly to blame. Pay for a carry or win a streamer raffle and stop complaining, ezpz:)

Gameplay has been really bad since the broken weapons a few weeks ago. This game is holding on by a thread

6 RepliesBro my teammates are constantly worse than me. Just 1 game I wish I could get hard carried just to know what it's like.

3 RepliesEdited by Terif, Kell of ERS: 10/10/2023 7:32:33 PMWhen I was trio-queueing, I matched the same team 3 times and another 4 times (in a row). I pretty much got my flawless run against 2 teams... FTBMM sounds good on paper, but it sucks in practice.
-
I'm not having much issue, playing solo this weekend I was able to go flawless within about 15 games (reset my card 2-3 times if I lost the 1st or 2nd match on a Mercy passage) which I found to be reasonable when nobody even bothers with mics. I was able to go flawless the two weekends before as well, it does take a bit of patience but on both these other two occasions, I was flawless in under 15 games or less.

It’s been bad since the matchmaking changes a while back. Nobody liked them when it was trials labs, but Bungie ignored ALL of the feedback and forced it into the live game anyway.
Anyone? As a solo it feels worse than ever.
It’s the same pal

Everyone else here already called it: Low player population. Your best bet is the first week for playing, then all that remains once the non-regulars get their loot is the usual players who never stop.
-
No one plays anymore Way better pvp games are out. Destiny’s pvp isn’t worth staying for.
-
Its because the pool of players is super small. Been a problem for years now.
-
Less and less people are playing
-
You constantly getting the same people in matches over and over too?
-
Felt like SBMM to me

3 RepliesI uninstalled destiny today over the toxic players in trials . I blame Bungie for not fixing there mess of a match making system. They do nothing anymore but turn a blind eye. They certainly lost my respect and couldn't pay me to play there games anymore. The way they ran destiny is seting there company up for failure. The CEO should be very worried of the direction its going. I accomplished what I feel was the best bungie had to offer 4x gilded conqueror. But the battle grounds GM's were a cheap play by Bungie but I still got platinum . I played almost 5000 hours of this game. And only seen it get worse as time went on. From match making to nerfs its been spiraling down for some time now. Met some nice players had some fun finishing a few raids. So thanks everyone for the good times if you ever played PVE with me I tip my hat to you.

Edited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 10/10/2023 7:49:32 AMMost of my teammates this weekend just played team death match outside regardless of where the zone was 😂 Used to love that map but man the spawns now are horrible.

Low player count, makes it tough. Beginning of season/expansion always going to feel better. Will probably feel progressively worse until next season.
-
I’m not a highly skilled player, and the first to admit that. There are definitely times when I’m the one dragging @$$ because I’m not sure what play to make in an off-mic solo match. That being said, I agree and feel like the last two weeks have been particularly bad when it comes to matchmaking. There seem to be a lot more skill outliers on my team (either complete potatoes, which means I end up top of the list, or one player who’s so good he stomps the other team while I’m still pulling my gun out). No idea why. I had a 4 week flawless streak before this. So the contrast is even sharper
-
Not really, it wasn't as good as last week for me, but still decent
-
Low population, it’s only 2.0s duking it out. Let the sweats have their fun as this is what they want
-
1 ReplyI find it as bad as it always was this season. It is hard to imagine worse mm than this

5 RepliesI have had so many terrible matches. I saved videos too. Close range fusion all bolts hit yet the damage comes in at 14 instead of 29 a bolt. this is as soon as the match starts too zero buffs. I have no idea what the hell is going on but I’m on the edge of just saying Fu.. off Bungie and taking another 5 year break.
