Card system is crazy boring
my eyes are glazing over during these activities and the card system

I liked them, my only issue was when you hovered your reticule over them there's not a popup reminder for each in text (except in the Athenaeum). Also sometimes, I never got to decide if I wanted to redraw a card before someone initiated an encounter.

Then just don't engage. It doesn't require any action on your part. They're purely additive.

The entire game is boring. 2nd season in a row where I can't be bothered to do the weekly campaign mission. Final Money-Grab is going to be a YouTube movie for me.

I like the cards and I like the buffs. I also liked finding them along with the chests. They need to develop the idea more and list what buffs the cards get when they’re up though.

It's called "Product Placement" 😉👍 The Deck is just an in-game advertisement for the physical, real-life deck of cards you can buy from Bungie's Store.

I don’t see the point in them at all, I just deactivated all the cards and now I have less heavy lol…Bungo has run out of ideas for a long time and the newbies who are working on the game don’t understand anything about this game, look at GMS 3 out of 6 are done with cheese and glitches

14 RepliesVery very true. I'm that bored I get sleepy, it's just boring, like really really yaaaaawn. I need to have music, YouTube or twitch on when I play to help me stay awake, whereas other games i don't have anything on. I left cod for destiny in 2014, i went back this week. I always planned to potentially buy modern warfare 3 this November but with skins carrying forward from MW2 & this season having banger skins I bought it this week, just played a few games here & there & I've noticed a few things. I don't feel stressed to need to login every chance I get to do 300 tasks,I don't get frustrated by playing things I don't like & get rewarded with nothing but frustration (yes I'm not 1800 yet & my last 8 pinnacles where all primary weapons, my only 1800+ slot). I don't feel the need to constantly click check boxes to stop things flashing, be it collections, triumihs, lore, medals etc etc etc. Oh and I'm having fun, something I've not had in destiny in maybe 7 years. I'm genuinely excited for modern warfare 3, I'll still play destiny occasionally, & I'm close to guardian rank 9, but I've moved my pre order from final shape to modern warfare 3 & I really don't think I'll buy it. That may change, of course, but right now nothing I'm seeing from bungie is positive, & watching recent videos about bungies model hasn't helped, I find it kinda disturbing :(

I think the cards are fine, maybe create a pole? The season is a bit boring. I don't think I'll keep any weapons. I haven't found anything unique or useful. The activity is okay to run a few times a week but gets old quickly I think that's the bigger issue.

It’s a neat concept. And I appreciate them trying something new at least. If it sticks around after this season, then it’ll definitely need some changes.

It's the same system we've had for years now. Just a time gated check box system. I agree, it needs to go... as well as all the time gating for everything

2 RepliesEverybody talks about not remembering what effects their active cards have because in typical Destiny/Bungie fashion you can't see them unless you're in the HELM, but for me, unless I'm just really really dumb, I honestly can't even tell if I have any cards active at all. Does lighting the pillar in the HELM activate or deactivate cards? I'm constantly having to go back to the HELM to see if my cards are even active in the first place.

I like it. It's a unique change and when I pull number 5, Blades, I bet happy like a kid on Christmas. It is better than what we had before it, which was nothing.
