Idea: When your super is full, gain max stack of string of curses upon a kill.
This makes it highly viable in pve, between using your super or gaining a high damage buff for one kill. Same goes for pvp.
Also likez buff pulse rifles.

Bro f the gun, give me that mission back bro, other side was great, And buff bad juju

Bungies not buffing anything that charges your super -
Bungie ain't in the buffing biz... We're all nerf herders now.

6 RepliesThen it will not be a bad juju if its buffed

I'd be happy with an ornament that changed the sights on it. Can't stand the ones on it, even back to D1 days.

1 ReplyLet it do poison damage. It looks like it could be in the thorn family but a pulse rifle.
-
3 RepliesHoly cow could you imagine what that would look like. Graviton lance is a beast if it is in the right hands, it can wipe a whole battle field with one shot. And if the buff is active in pvp and in the right circumstances it can wipe a whole team in 6v6.

Give it its secret hive explosion perk when you reach 5 stacks instead of after 200 kills in a row
-
Maybe give it wellspring so it fills all abilities. And reduce max stacks of string to 3. Same potency as before, just less kills to get there.

1 ReplyGreetings fellow small warlock wearing red armor holding sleeper simulant with a yellow background pfp I concur my good chap, the rifle bad juju would do well with more utility

Edited by Justin68687112: 10/3/2023 3:41:10 AMI think pulse rifles have been meta in PVP enough times already. For PVE, on one hand, I feel there is already countless exotics that are neglected and Bad Juju isn't one that needs the only attention, on the other hand you actually have something else going for your request. Fact is, in Destiny 1, super cooldowns were time and stats based, so a 4 minute 13 second cool down meant your super could only be charged in 4:13. So Bad Juju really got its use and uniqueness from charging your super from kills in addition. But as soon as supers became damage based, Bad Juju completely lost its identity. With killing nonstop, the difference between that and a none super charging weapon is not noticeable because of how tiny Bad Juju actually contributes. I have tested it enough to say that with confidence, and the fact I never seen someone use it is so long, if it really did make a big difference, why does no one use the exotic? There's also things that outshadow it. Example being Thunderlord. Thunderlord melts adds so fast and gives you super charge so fast, why would you use Bad Juju instead? Yeah, cause of heavy ammo shortage at times, but I mean in terms of exotic slot. Bad Juju needs to be substantial super charging again, like substantial difference again, or it needs a new gimmick. And yes, I took into account all the different factors that charge super, like overall cooldown, intellect, taking damage, dealing damage, a primary exotic charging faster than a heavy does, etc. But something like Vex Mythoclast contributes the same amount of super energy while doing substantially more damage. TLDR; Bad Juju doesn't need to be PVP meta as pulse rifle metas have already had its share, and PVE perk doesn't actually do anything due to super charging changes recently so it needs a new type of perk or a substantial increase to super energy earned versus other Primary Ammo Exotics (which is the same, cause they are doing more damage, so they contribute just as mu h as the perk does).

A skull of dire Ahamkara buff would be nice too especially for my bad juju build 🤷🏼♂️

2 RepliesI think avoid doing so for pvp. I once was able to activate x5 and went on a killing spree as it basically instantly kills anyone. However for pve that is a nice change though something they could do is that the weapon gives super energy and class energy on kill (Maybe every ability) like 10% per a kill in pve and 5% per a kill in pvp.

Combine it with necrogasm

It could be better
